We dined out here for our anniversary. Food was nice and we were served promptly.no waiting in between courses for food

Welcoming, friendly staff with lovely food and wine and atmosphere

Our waiter was fantastic, actually listening to the fact that one of us was gluten free and dairy free, made little amendments to suit, he also had a great sense of humour. All four us enjoyed our meals, there is a great selection of Vegetarian/Vegan options (separate menu). Good meal sizes.

Friendly staff good service food was well presented but nothing special

The information on this application was very misleading. The restaurant has changed it menu and according to the waitress they haven’t had that menu for a long time. The food was very average at best. It took 30 minutes to get our bill after we had asked for it twice.

Lovely meal but a little over priced for what you get on your plate

Although we enjoyed the food, the pigeon was a little overcooked and tough. The menu is large and varied with a good choice of meats and fish. Portion sizes were just a wee bit too big for us but since we are over 60 we found the over 60s offer to be good value for money. Overall the service was efficient and the staff were quite friendly and easily answered any questions put to them. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was pleasant and we could easily talk to each other and not being too aware of other diners conversations. A return visit is probable and we would recommend the Ash to friends and family

Tempted in by the cocktails and sharing platter for 4. Excellent value . Definitely one to try, we will be back.
