chaos with wine, overcharged, very loud karaoke singer BUT the food was fab, good attempt to resolve matters and would try again. think the menu is great, but the offer not really clear..... my friends came from miles away and said they would come again too

This restaurant never fails! Party of 8 dined on Saturday night. Food excellent, service exemplary. They really know how to do it properly! Well worth a visit

A very nicely decorated with welcoming pleasant staff. My wife had Thai food and I chose Indian, there was not a great wait for the food and it was hot whew it arrived, great. Tasting and we'll presented. The restaurant is a nice environment if you are a large group of a couple and there was an adequate number of staff to meet the needs of everyone. Food is great value for money and due to the menu there is something for everyone, but if you want more authentic food you would be better going to a specific Indian etc restaurant, having said that we will certainly in back.

Personally found the food bland and when the waiter tried to explain the menu it confused us on what we could order as he explained it differently to what was on the website. The waitresses were polite and the decor is lovely but was really disappointing

The description of the main course and what we actually were actually served differed. We we're expecting sizzling Mexican chicken fajitas but everything was already wrapped in a tortilla. Very little chicken and filling full stop. Very disappointed. Our friends however had a great meal.

Time taken for drinks and food to be served was extremely / painfully slow -1hour 30minutes wait for starter. Food quality was ok but not great. None of our party of nine will be returning.

When we arrived we were put on a table too small for our group so we had to be moved. They quickly came to take drinks and food orders. The starter came out within 15mins, but then the mains took an 1hr 15mins to arrive! They came many times to ask for drinks during this period. The restaurant was quite empty and there were plenty of staff so this was not the reason for the delay. The food was average and some things were quite bland. I don't think i'll go there again.

Poor quality food, tasted like it was frozen. Service super slow and very forgetful. Will never go back plenty of other better places in Peterborough. AVOID save your money!!

Tasty food, great atmosphere and friendly staff that are helpful and very polite they made us feel most welcome and we had a great time.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to end. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. They were aware that it was our wedding anniversary and made us a cocktail. Food was delicious and served piping hot. So impressed with this place will be back very soon . Thanks.

It wasn't what we expected so we left. This is nothing more than a fixed price menu. Sure, plenty of choice but if you are looking for variety in the dishes you can have, the. His is not the place for you.

Excellent service, stunning food, great atmosphere., reasonably priced wine. Easy to book via Quandoo. An all round thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. What more could you want?

The food was really good. Great prices. Great service. Very friendly staff. This was a lot better than we anticipated and we all loved it.

Food was very nice, service was a little slow due to a large party in the restaurant, had to request drinks order twice. Was also very noisy due to the large party.

The restaurant was noisy, couldn't really hear each other as DJ started to play his music. The food was meh, all cooked in bulk. Servers were friendly though but would never return. Classless and tacky.

The service was shocking, the food was cold, noone knew how to make the cocktails. We didn't pay for any of the food it was that bad. All tables complaining. Completely ruined our night!!!

Service was slow. They appear to have gotten rid of tea all you can eat element for a set menu deal. Wasn't too bad, and the food was really good. Just needs to be quicker.

It's a brilliant restaurant, food amazing! Service however is either to pushy or not there at all, the waiters/waitresses don't really know what's going on.

How the menu worked was not explained to us. We had to ask for a cocktail menu. We had to ask 4 times for our drinks as they were not given to us even though the table next to us got theirs despite arriving half an hour after us. Also my friend had a hair in her food! On a positive note, the food was lovely and when we got our drinks our cocktails were lovely too!

Was very quiet. Very open plan. Food was ok but pricing was confusing. I had seafood starter and main and expected to pay surcharge but it was more than expected. Good company made experience good.

Good selection of food, friendly waiters, good service and quality of food good. Large restaurant, nicely decorated. Sits over two floors. I would im6if the restaurant gets busy service may slow down

Service was slow, sat for 15 minutes and had to ask to place order. The restaurant was very noisy and the food was not the best.

Paid a visit on a Thursday evening and was very impressed. Staff very attentive, menu extensive and quality food at a very reasonable price. House wine not expensive and very good. All round great experience and we will be back. Only negative was 3 cars parked on the pavement directly against the front wall of the building right in front of no parking signs which unfortunately spoiled the look of the restaurant from the front

terrible robotic service long waits for drinks and meals when asked about the cost of extra dishes the response was 'no worries, don't worry, it's sorted - with a wink' starter was awful - wasn't tempura prawns - was breadcrumbs mix and little mash stuffed prawns inside - not light battered big prawns...just the whole thing was awful then they over charged us, added drinks onto bill that we didn't have and 'its sorted' was charged he then said he would take one pound off to be nice?!?!?! AWFUL

I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS AN INDIAN CUISINE RESTAURANT...IT ISNT...IT IS NOW A MULTI NATIONALITY CUISINE INDIAN THAI CHINESE MEXICAN ETC WE ORDERED DRINKS THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE THEY AUTOMATICALLY BROUGHT US A BASKET OF MIXED PRAWN CRACKERS POPADOMS WHEN ACTUALLY WE WANTED INDIAN SO WE JUST WANTED POPADOMS THE FOOD WAS OK BUT BUT NOT GREAT THEY THEN TRIED TO SERVE US OUR MAINS AGAIN LOL OVERALL IT WASNT GREAT AND I WONT BE GOING BACK

Table of six, a couple of wrong orders, poor quality food, starters luke warm, cold restaurant. The waiters were so unprofessional, leaning over us to serve and one waiter when he bought the food was constantly repeating very quickly the name of the dish as though he was running a market stall. The menu shown on the website is totally different to the menu at the restaurant, the food was also quite salty. To be honest it felt like a roadside cafe, we will not be returning or recommending.

A nice restaurant with good food and generous portion size. Average service due to not enough attendance at table by staff but this has not stopped us deciding to try again. One thing that does need attention is the male and female cloakrooms......they seemed as if they had not been attended to as stalls were in messy condition. So, will definitely go again, friendly staff, great food but be prepared to be a bit proactive in getting seen and hope the loos are clean. Worth a visit and 7/10 which could so easily be 9/10. Oh, friendly staff as well so thanks to all there.....imdont usually domreviews so must be OK food wise

Terrible service - food was okay (Thai food was pretty good, other food not so great - the Mexican food was not very good at all).

Food was nice, fault with the website as it showed space was limited and when we arrived it was empty, personally I thought the service was a bit slow but overall very nice!

We went on a Wednesday night so it wasn't to busy. The meal was lovely and just enough. The option to try different types of food is great. The only downside if you can call it that was the time it took to get the bill.

The worst restaurant I have every been to poor service room very quite didn't feel welcome. We had to pay cash only food was ok we would never go there again

We went to Ba Shoh on a Tuesday evening. On Tuesday's you can have any starter, main course, side dish and rice or naan for £12.95. The restaurant was very quiet except for one large group of 20 plus people. All the food was good quality. I particularly enjoyed the noorani kebab starter and the Keenan naan was one of the tastiest I have found for a long time. Service was good. This was our first visit to Ba Shoh and we would happily return.

good restaurant, great ambience, also the chef accommodates your specific requests. They cook good indian food which is authentic in taste & much better than others.

Excellent food. Lovely service. Front of house attentive. Not as full as it might have been for a Saturday night, so perhaps atmosphere could have been better. However did not affect our enjoyment and we had a lovely evening.

while he service was attentive at times, it seemed we needed 4 waiting staff to get a drink... The tandoori baang chops were a little disappointing, only 2 chops in each portion and not 4 as described in previous comments I'd seen. overall, not bad and we will visit again...

Although the food was brilliant the service was terrible. The restaurant was quiet and we were one of 6 tables in. It took nearly 20 minutes for someone to take our order, the starters then came around 20 minutes later with the mains coming around 1 hour 20 into our visit. We managed to get one drink each as no body came to check how things were or if we would Iike another drink. There were around 5 staff on yet only one seemed to be serving. It was a bit of a shambles and frustrating as we tried several times to get someone's attention and when we finally managed to order a second drink it never came

Eating at Ba Shoh was an amazing experience. The food was great, the staff was friendly and the decor was beautiful. Ba Shoh would be be perfect for date night with the misses or just to hang out with your friends!

Nice friendly atmosphere with good service and helpful advice on choice of menu selection. Excellent food especially the fish dishes and a nice touch with the chef coming to say helllo.

from start to finish the service and food was excellent, nothing was to much trouble, we were not hurried into giving our order and the staff were very pleasent
