So named because it’s brand new to Blackpool, Baby Kingfisher is contemporary Indian cuisine done right. That means the team pride themselves on attention to detail and giving each guest the flawless service they deserve. On Highfield Road in South Shore, Baby Kingfisher is minutes from the coastline and a stone’s throw from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The menu comprises all the curry house classics you would expect as well as plenty of chef’s specialities that succeed in going beyond the norm. Try the Goan monkfish curry, the king prawn Rangoon or, if you think you’ve got what it takes, the fiery chicken naga. Oh, and there’s also a great selection of authentic Indian baltis. Blackpool, go and give Baby Kingfisher a try.
I think we’ve tried every Indian restaurant on the Fylde coast, most serve bland, tasteless food. The food at the Baby Kingfisher was excellent, I was in a party of 4 and all of us enjoyed the food immensely. The onion bhajis come highly recommended as did the Shashlik and Bhuna. You won’t be disappointed, I think we’ve found our new “go to” place for Indian cuisine. The drinks were reasonably priced too, the bill was just over £100 for four of us including several alcoholic drinks. They gave us complementary drinks at the end too which is always a nice touch.
Once again a fantastic evening at this wonderful restaurant. Our party of 5 had a variety of starters and main courses and we were all extremely happy with the quality and quantity of the food. The service was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and the level of attention throughout was just right. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon.
Excellent service, excellent food couldn’t recommend enough, staff were second to none always there too help food was fresh and to a very high standard
