Food was amazing, but the service was very poor. The waiters were not friendly and took the plates away whilst we were eating. One of the waiters when approached if they can take our order mumbled very rudely under his breath "I don't serve food". They couldn't get us out the restaurant quick enough. For an amazing high end restaurant and for the prices you pay for the food, you don't expect to be treated this way. To the management of Bangalore Express, sort out the attitude of your staff.

All went well, no complaints, great tasty food to share, would come again.

Every starter we ordered tasted bad, especially the tiger prawn one. Biryani lacked the flavour I have seen before. Only thing good was paneer tikka masala.

Great cosy place. We ordered onion fritters, paneer lababdar and rice along with beer/cider. Food was fresh and nice. The staff was quick and prompt too.

Most Authentic and high quality Indian food i have tasted outside of India. Its a bit pricey but the portions are large so you can pack leftovers and have two more meals.

We had 30 people and there was no issue on booking or seating. Great service and nice food.

The food was lovely. We came as a group and it would have been nice to get the meal(s) at the same time so that everyone could enjoy the experience together. Half the table finished their meal before the rest got theirs.

service was poor due to a large group eating downstairs. I was entertaining 12 clients and no waiters were coming to check on us regularly for more drinks which meant i had guests without a drink for a considerable time. The manager was attentive when listening to my complaint though. The food was excellent though and I would go back

Great restaurant, have visited lots during the week but first time on a sat night. Was busy at 8pm when we first got there but by 9 it was dead. I guess you expect that in the city at the weekend. Good food, quite expensive but worth it. Service support on.

Empty restaurant yet still we had to wait ages for everything! Waiting staff clearly didn’t want to be there. Food was bland. Will not be re-visiting

Chose the build your own option. All very tasty. Cobra alcohol beer was disappointing in terms of taste. No issues with the regular draft Cobra.

Just the right number of diners at the restaurant, so it had a lively atmosphere but still the noise levels were low enough to allow a good private chat. The service was swift, friendly and polite, the food arrived quickly and was the best I have eaten out of India - looked and tasted healthy and authentic. Definitely a place to go if you're looking for a civilised dinner and great grub at a good price.

Decent food wont say it was great. Samosa in chat tasted bit different and didn’t enjoy it as i was expecting. Rest great service , loved the ambience and staff. Good stuff .

The best Indian restaurants in the City of London. You will not find such a wide variety of options in the menu. Great service and good ambiance. Definitely recommend.

Busy Thursday lunch before christmas. Service was terrible. Constantly looking for a waiter who were rushed off their feet. Seated at 1pm our main courses arrived at 230pm after chasing. Waiter appeared confused most of the time. The food was about as good as the poor mass produced curry houses on Bricklane but at city prices. Horrendous.
