The location of Bar Centrale Restaurant & Pizzeria – directly opposite Camden Market and straight between Camden Town and Chalk Farm tube stations – could not be much better for those who are looking for a meal while visiting central London. The Italian menu is crowd-pleasing, featuring plenty of pasta options, as well as a selection of pizzas that goes further than just red sauce and cheese to take in the whole range of options available in Italy. On top of great food and service, the pizzeria offers a lively event schedule. Pop in on Thursdays and Saturdays for comedy nights hosted by Monkey Business Comedy Club as well as Camden Cabaret on Friday for a night of burlesque, comedy, drag and music. Book a table at this hot spot on Chalk Farm Road for a dining experience to remember.

Great pizza, great value, good service. Will definitely go back! Most expensive bottle of wine on the menu was £24...pizzas were so much better than ‘chain’ restaurants and less expensive.
They dealt with my very big and slightly awkward party extremely well and were so pleasant throughout!!! They made my poorly organised birthday a treat!
Had a really nice time, the staff were very nice and accommodating and the pizza is great. Can’t ask for more than that. Thanks to the staff for a lovely evening!
There are plenty of superb places to eat and drink in central London, and the Camden and Chalk Farm area in particular is a hub of great restaurants and pubs. Those planning an afternoon shopping in Camden Market, or drinking around Camden Locks, would do well to take a look at Bar Centrale Restaurant & Pizzeria on Chalk Farm Road, where you can enjoy a superb Italian meal at a tastefully decorated and centrally located restaurant.
Found on Chalk Farm Road, directly between Chalk Farm and Camden Town tube stops, Bar Centrale is a prime dining location for tourists and locals alike. The menu is big on classics, and particularly pizzas, which goes further than the average Italian restaurant fare. There is bianche options – without tomato sauce but with mozzarella – and calzone, as well as unusual toppings such as marinated seafood and smoked salmon, pesto and pine nuts and spinach and egg. Book a table in advance though, as Camden and Chalk Farm are busy areas of London, to be sure of a table.
