Having been in business for almost 30 years, Becketts on Bellevue Terrace in Southsea is a bit of an institution at this point. Spread over four floors, the team at Becketts Portsmouth have created an inviting restaurant that serves up gourmet cuisine with flair and finesse. Dishes on the a la carte include fresh mussels cooked in Guinness, garlic and cream with pancetta, onions and parsley; chorizo and butternut squash risotto with homemade rocket pesto, parmesan and sage crisps and veggie fish and chips comprised of tempura battered halloumi, pesto polenta chips with harissa and sundried tomato mayo. Oh, we’re feeling very hungry all of a sudden...
