At Bellenie’s Osteria on Hayes’ Bourne Way, a touch of Italian dining is brought to Greater Bromley, with tapas-style dishes served up in an elegant setting alongside a long list of fine wines and cheeses specially imported from Italy. London may have no shortage of Italian eateries, but hidden away in Bromley, Bellenie’s Osteria is a diamond in the rough with their exquisite takes on Italian classics – we recommend booking a table here in advance.
The food was very good but I was a bit disappointed with the basement seating area. It was quite dark and the stairway was very narrow. Quite quirky but not for me.
If you love seafood then Wednesday is a must ! Along with a warm and friendly service a very enjoyable evening was had by all. (P.S. Do linger for an after dinner chat and cocktail at the welcoming bar !!)
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere! From arrival and cocktails at the bar, to being shown to the table and served recommended and lovely food how could it not be lovely! Will be back soon!
After devoting her time spent in Italy to learning everything there is to know about regional Italian cuisine, the chef now aims to share her passion for Italian food back home in London by serving up authentic dishes at Bellenie’s Osteria in the Hayes neighbourhood of Bromley. At this sophisticated restaurant on Bourne Way the menu is changed seasonally to incorporate seasonal produce, but you will find some of the most popular dishes on the menu all year long. Options include coppa wraps, fennel-cured pork slices wrapped around rocket and sunblush tomatoes, and a selection of charcuterie meats like sopressata, a spicy salami with chili flakes, and a range of flatbread pizzas.
With the idea of choosing two or three plates each and then sharing them at the table amongst friends, you can take advantage of the massive array of appeasing options available. Of course, no true Italian dining experience would be complete without a bottle of great wine and you will find an extensive menu of red, white and rose wines sourced from Italy. Attracting a crowd from all over London, making a reservation at this popular Bromley restaurant is wise.
Please note: group bookings of 20 or more people please contact the restaurant.
