Wonderful ambience. Very pleasant staff. Food is excellent. On the same par as Prithvi. We had a lovely time and will definitely go again and perhaps try the tasting menu next.

Booked Bhoomi for my partner's birthday. Called a week prior to booking as my partner has a dairy allergy, to ensure there was plenty on the menu. Upon arriving the staff took our coats, showed us to our table and remembered the dairy issue, talking us through the menu options. The food was superb, with unexpected extras along the way, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. A great experience and would definitely recommend - a class above your average restaurant.

Friends and I had a lovely evening, great service although just a little slow. Food quality very good, biriyani a little dry. It was really refreshing to have plenty of space around the table and overall layout of the restaurant is excellent.

Bhoomi boasts a very elegant interior with sumptuous colours and comfortable seating. The tables are well spaced so one doesn't feel cramped as in other restaurants. The South Indian menu is by no means expansive, but all the better for it - particular stand-outs are the masala dosa and goan pork curry. The service is excellent - attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Fab food! Great service ! Dishes were very tasty, and the pani puri inbetween was brilliant surprise. Tad pricey but in the end worth it! Brilliant restaurant

Without a doubt, my favourite place to eat in Cheltenham. Decor and ambience are fab, staff and service faultless and the food is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful, flavoursome food. Delicious wine. Impeccable service and a lovely atmosphere. Chocolate samosas are a must for dessert. So glad we chose Bhoomi! Will definitely return soon.

The food and service is first class on every visit

Atmosphere, decor, welcome, service, food all excellent on our first visit to this great south India restaurant in very chic area of Cheltenham Spa. Well worth booking if you're visiting town or the Cotswolds. Definitely not a 'curry house' but exceptional flavour explosions on every plate. We will return!

This was an excellent experience. The restaurant was very nice and comfortable with good space between the tables . The food was of a very high quality and the service was excellent .

Fabulous food and you are made to feel very special. The chef sends you treats to the table and all of the Waiting Staff look after you very well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Bhoomi. The food was extremely tasty, the butter chicken was exceptional as was the date and almond Naan. The presentation and service were good and we will certainly be going again.

We had an excellent experience and made to feel very welcome on a chilly winters night. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was warm, calm and relaxing. It was lovely to have a more selected menu and the food did not disappoint....tasty, exotic and just plain yummy. Very recommendable.

The restaurant itself is very nice and stylish, the food was delicious too, but unfortunately we were a bit ignored by the staff despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't even busy. They forgot to bring us the menu. So after 45 we managed to get their attention and ask for the menu. We waited for two hours to have the main on our table. And in the end we waited another 30 mins to get their attention to bring us the bill and they didn't notice us at all. So in the end we had to get up and go to them and ask for the bill.

Fantastic food , and great service - what more can I say! Attention to detail in regards to the presentation is first class , can't be far away from having a star now!

Excellent food. Terrific service. Only shortcoming was that the confirmed Quandoo booking for a table for three people and been transmitted to the restaurant as a table for two.

Good service, food quality and presentation excellent. Enjoyed taster menu but small portions and a bit pricey so not value for money. But would go back and try something else on menu.

Wife (she is Indian and knows a good curry) and I have been going here for years. Always amazing quality of food at fantastic prices and served by well trained staff. Perfection.

Our booking was at 6.00pm just as the restaurant opened for the evening and unsurprisingly we were the only people there. It did begin to fill up at as our meal progressed. We chose the tasting menu but asked to change one course and this request was accommodated with no problem. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the food was of a very good standard and all the courses complemented each other pretty well. At £39 per head it was bit expensive but as there were no problems we did not feel hard done by. My only gripe is that the room was very dark and as I am profoundly deaf and need to be able to see to lip read asked for the lights to be turned up. This was done albeit a bit reluctantly so it was ok. Whether my request would have been accepted had the restaurant been very busy I am not sure. I get very frustrated with dark restaurants which has become a bit of a trend, as well as not being able to hear properly, I have always considered food at this level to be a visual experience as well as a taste experience.

Wonderful food on the tasting menu complimented by a delicious flight of wine. The service was friendly,helpful and efficient. Each course was described as it was served as were the wines. A delightful evening which we hope to repeat soon

Wonderful food, as ever. Attentive staff and charming owner. We had the 'tour ' taster menu and the newly instituted wine flight to go with it. Salmon with Riesling, Duck Samosa with Tempranillo, Butter Chicken and plain Naan with a New Zealand white we haven't had before - Pinot Gris - Lamb with rice and another delightful red - Malbec Mendoza from Argentina,, pudding with a French dessert wine. My husband had the set doughnut but they kindly substituted the Halwa for me. Buzzing even on a Sunday night. Well worth a visit!

Superb evening out with wonderful Indian cuisine, marvellously hosted by Michael and all the team at Bhoomi. We will definitely pay another visit again soon.

We (myself and two teenage sons) were celebrating my wife's birthday. We wanted something a little different. We tried the taster 5 course menu, we were all very happy with all the courses not a crumb left by any of us. The best fine dining Asian restaurant I have been to. Attentive staff, fantastic food. would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent food and service. Can't fault the place. A must for any food lovers of fine Indian dinning. Can not wait to go back again.

reception ,service and ambience excellent. some quibbles about the food 2 of our party of four had the chicken dish and we felt the chicken was dry and the sauce not as interesting as expected- not aromatic The scallops were either slightly undercooked or cold. otherwise all other dishes especially deserts and sides were excellent

Excellent meal. We went for the tasting menu and the wine flight. The food was just devine, the service perfect! The butter chicken was lightly spiced and juicy.

As always a fabulous meal in a relaxed atmosphere highly recommend this restaurant
