Large Sunday roasts for all, massive Yorkshire puddings. Busy, but service was OK.

Happy to recommend the restaurant but there was a considerable gap between courses and disappointed to have to ask where it is to get attention.

Not a full range of roast no lamb or pork. Fish pie dry and too much potato. Ordered liver and bacon on menu at 12 as we were first there they came back and said no liver.

Awful place as it is a very noisy pub with a restaurant attached. Couldn't hear yourself think. It's great if you want to shout at your partner across a small table. Couldn't get out quick enough. Also to ram as many people in as possible they set up an extra table blocking a clearly labelled fire exit! Nice!

The food was good but the outstanding thing was the service. We were looked after by very attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. It was a pub lunch but will certainly return for an evening meal.

Lovely food and service although the restaurant was incredibly hot and that made our visit rather unenjoyable. There are no openings in the beautiful decorated windows and apparently the fans do not work. We asked if they could put the air-con on but instead they opened the door, this provided us with a pleasant gentle occassional breeze but 2 elderly customers apparently complained of the cold and so the doors were shut again. This issue would effect our decision to return again on a warm day.

It was a busy Friday night and the only issue we jad was the noise level. The food was good quality and value for money. The service was good too thanks to Matt and other staff.
