Decor quite dated but the food was lovely and authentic. Particular highlights were the pancake and bulgogi. Service was efficient and friendly too.

This is a truely excellent and very authentic Korean restaurant. Korean food is normally very very good, but here the food was wonderful, the staff very helpful and the owner very charming. I speak with some experience as my partner is Korean.

I was told the chicken fried in batter starter is very popular; it was nice, the chicken was tender but surrounded by too much batter for my taste. For main I had beef bulgolgi which is quite tasty, but the dark brown shredded pieces on the plate amounted to the dish looking unattractive on the plate. I asked for a pot of ginger and honey tea (£2.50) but the lovely waitress didn't speak English well and I was brought a cup of tea, although it was delicious so maybe worth the price. It was an interesting experience and there were many Korean customers. Overall I thought it was not sufficiently good for me to recommend it to friends or to have the desire to return.

It was our 2nd time in this restaurant, and after the food arrived, we remembered why we loved it so much in the first time. The only problem was that it was a busy evening, and we waited 50 minutes (!!) before our first course arrived. They felt very uneasy with this, and gave us one of the beers free of charge, and kept apologizing all the time.

Great food, good service, they even offered my chopstick challenged friend a fork!
