Another excellent night at Bistro Franc, food excellent as always, great atmosphere, and staff as lovely as ever. The restaurant was very busy so a few choices not available, which is great news for a restaurant on a cold Tuesday night in January. Still plenty of choice though

The food and service was as good as ever and the added element of live music as a background made it a very enjoyable night.

Lovely food reasonably priced and friendly quick service . Ideal place to eat their pre theatre menu is excellent . We have visited three times before and have never been disappointed.

Overall grewt waitress, great service and great meal. The restaurant was very busy however our table was ready waiting for us. The service was very good and we had no feeling of being rushed to release the table. Great value for money in nice surroundings.

Bistro Frank as always serves us excellent food we are never rushed and the staff are very pleasant and professional good service on every visit.

The food wasn’t as good as it had previously been. The linguine pasta sauce was watery and didn’t coat the pasta. The potato fondant with the duck looked like it had been boiled in stock only about a week earlier! The sea bass wasn’t great and the dish as a whole was very salty. The service was very poor as when we asked for something it took a while to get it. No one was apologetic either.

Love this restaurant, food was great, service spot on . They never rush you and there's a nice atmosphere, great choice and value for money with their wine and dine offers. Will definitely be back

Always lively and noisy. Always a good choice on the menu. Service is attentive but not intrusive . Good value for money as we had the pre-theatre menu. Wine wasn't great but the food was excellent.

Lovely meal from the a la cartel menu. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed the evening. Our waitress was really good and helpful xx

Beautifully cooked food and well presented! Lots to choose from and a children’s menu of tasty meals. The staff are really friendly and helpful too!

Would have been 6 stars, but 3 items on a la carte menu had sold out, including 2 we would have chosen. Pleasant meal none the less.

Meal was lovely, very reasonably priced. service was excellent. Restaurant is very calming and atmospheric. The only down side was the music could do with being a bit more lively.

Decided on the pre theatre 3 course, good choice on the menu, starter and main lovely with good tray of vegetables. Desert of crumble was a bit overdone. Drinks are a bit overpriced but had a good night.

Whatever time of year it is there is always a welcoming relaxed atmosphere , with a pleasant hard working staff. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Booked here for meal after a shopping day in Liverpool with my daughter, food was delicious and hot. Service was good, nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely return with my partner.

Took my sister, her husband and my parents who were on a weekend break from Kent. Good food as usual but waitresses could have been a little friendlier!

Food was good and well presented, staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was served within a good timeframe. The place was clean with a pleasant atmosphere.

Restaurant was very busy and our table wasn't ready even though I'd booked. They did offer us another table which I took as we were limited for time. Food was lovely and came out quickly so all was well in the end.

We liked Bistro Franc so much that we returned. Yet again we were not disappointed. The food was delicious the service was pleasant friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning again soon.

Good food in a very pleasant surrounding with good service. Good company enhanced the experience of a pleasant night out in Liverpool before our visit to see The Scaffold.

Good service and ambience but food disappointing compared to last visit. Cod tasteless and crumble top was doughy and soft. Pork was lovely as were vegetables.

One of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool. Staff are friendly and efficient. The food is always well presented and hot. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend a visit.

Didn't match our usual expectations. Bread was not provided. Starter wasn't available. Chicken was like rubber. 4.15 booking. Staff appeared busy with tasks rather than customer care. Standards have dropped sorry.
