Hi My reservation for a window seat was great friendly staff and great good

We arrived on time for our booking at 6pm and were seated straight away. Food and drink arrived and what we chose was nice. Plates were taken away and we decided on a desert. There was no service from the staff at this point and we couldn’t get any attention. Nobody came to see if we wanted desert or coffee and the restaurant was fairly quiet at this point. We had to leave and left our money on the table as we were going to the Theatre. Started good but didn’t end well.

Visited the restaurant on recommendation from a friend and was no disappointed ! Excellent foo and drinks and the Wine & Dine Tuesday offer makes for superb value for money.

Wine and dine Wednesday, 2 courses and a bottle of wine for £19.95 each. What’s not to like. However the sauce to accompany the superbly executed duck breast was over reduced. It was a tad too intense which detracted from the duck. Apart from that everything else was great. Attentive, professional and friendly staff, lovely ambience and a great French menu.

Been dining at Bistro Pierre for many years and would certainly recommend trying it . You can’t beat the quality of the food at such a reasonable price.

Only had main course was not given anything to go with the steak or chicken waitress put plates down and said enjoy. Had to wait a further 10 minutes to get waitress attention then she brought veg and potatoes for chicken no chips for steak.

We arrived at Bistro Pierre a couple of minutes early and were promptly seated at our table. After placing our order we sat back to enjoy a glass of wine in the anticipation of a lovely meal and a pleasant evening as we have done many times at the venue. Our starter arrived without delay and was delicious, but the moment we had finished it the main course immediately followed. We had the impression that the waiting staff were in some kind of race. For our mains we each ordered the beef bourgignon which, with the combination of vegetables, was served in five burning hot skillets and what appeared to be a large soup bowl. With wine and water already on the tiny table there clearly wasn't enough room for everything and it resulted in a cramped struggle to eat the meal. This was made even more difficult by some very tough beef - so tough that it couldn't be cut with a knife and left my jaw feeling as though it had experienced a commando style workout! I mentioned the overly chewy beef to the waitress as she was speedily taking our dishes away but she didn't really take it on board. In fact she was in such a rush that she was asking if we wanted coffee, despite the fact that we still had half a bottle of wine left. We have visited Bistro Pierre many times in the past and have always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. However, this time we felt rushed, uncomfortable, and left feeling quite disappointed with the whole experience. It will be a while until we return.

Lovely meal and ambience staff where friendly and attentive definitely go again .

Food was fantastic. Staff and ambience was great. Only negative I have was one of the starters we ordered was not available which should of been made clear to us before we ordered. Everything else was perfect.

Really good meal and great atmosphere, but the process of ordering our starters took some while and we didn’t receive it until 55 minutes after entering the restaurant. Luckily we had a lively discussion going on, but people were starting to get a little restless by the end. Would visit again, though

All in my party of five had a lovely meal good service and a friendly atmosphere well worth the money .

Went for wine and dine menu.2 course and bottle of wine per person.Food was brilliant.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Despite the restaurant being very busy our food came reasonably quickly and was hot and very tasty. Absolutely outstanding value too.

Table of 4 behind us were too loud at times which was annoying (no fault of restaurant). However, the food was excellent with plenty of choice.

Amazing food (not huge portions but enough), lovely atmosphere and fantastic staff... Drinks can be a bit pricey but it is city centre and comparable..... The food certainly is with the visit.
