Best seafood restaurant for miles - excellent Sunday lunch too - would definitely go again

We had the fish platter for two, it was £80 and it was lovely! Staff were brilliant and had an overall brilliant experience.

We had a great night at the restaurant and the staff were lovely. Just before the end if our meal a friend got very poorly and we had to ring an ambulance. The staff supported us throughout the evening whilst we had to wait 2 hrs for an ambulance. It was 1am when we finally got medic support and the staff supported us and put us at ease through the whole time, they were amazing and very caring and couldn't do enough. I would like to thank them for everything they did for us all as they went above and beyond.

We have been a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is always great and the waitress is lovely and friendly. We always enjoy going and have recommended it to all our friends some of whom visited today. It’s the best fish restaurant in the area.

Overpriced. Cremated (not triple cooked) chips. Seafood linguine without prawns. Slow service. Poor selection of draught beers.

We’ve been before and the food was lovely. Service is good. We had a little bit of a wait for food this time but we were told that when we ordered. It’s a lovely little restaurant and I prefer those with a smaller menu but where it’s all fresh and quality produce.

Another great visit to the Blu Lobster. Had the mussels and the fish and chips, as I often do. The mussels are of great quality, I have had them around 4 times now. The sauce is rich and creamy and the bread is toasted which definitely adds something when mopping up the sauce. The fish and triple cooked chips are an absolute delight. The fish was even bigger than normal this evening putting a stop to my ambitions of having a desert. The drinks we had with our meal were Dortmunder and a rose wine. Great staff, great food use it or lose it. Well worth a visit.

First class food, the waitress was very friendly and welcoming. I had seafood chowder to start and it was delicious partner had mussels and thoroughly enjoyed them, then coconut fish stew and cod and chips both were outstanding. Will definitely go again

This restaurant must be the best seafood restaurant in the area. We had the sharing platter which did not disappoint, it was beautifully cooked and very tasty couldn’t fault it. Nicola the waitress was lovely very pleasant and attentive. A lovely dining experience and we will certainly be back.

This was our first visit and we had the special offer of two meals for £30 including a drink. There was plenty of choice on the menu and we both enjoyed the seafood chowder, I had the fish pie and my husband had the fish curry. Both meals were delicious and we have booked again for some more fantastic food.
