Lovely little restruant food absolutely delicious with great staff would definitely recommend the scallops they were to die for😋 Even though only round corner to me it was first time there but most certainly won't be the last!

This is a really lovely restaurant. Staff very friendly. The decor is fantastic, giving a cosy feeling. What I would say about the food ( which was really nice) but the menu needs changing. My husband ordered crab burger which was a soft shell crab battered with shell and everything. Had he know this he would not of ordered it. Menu should of beenmore specific. Would go back again however and would recommend it.

Great food ,friendly staff ,good views and smart decor .Especially enjoyed the steak and wife loved her dessert .It was a bit pricey and probably need to look at comparisons with other resturants they are competing against but I was that impressed with the food I was happy to pay ,but that might just put some people off.

Lovely food, good service and ambience. It is good to see a decent fish restaurant back in the town. Will definitely be going back there.

Unfortunately we were the only two people in the restaurant so ambience was very low that evening. The food was good and well presented although expensive, £38 for lobster with no offer of a half lobster and then chips as a side dish were about £3 50 in addition.

Very nice addition to the Hartlepool culinary scene. A seafood restaurant that serves quality seafood but at a price. The restaurant itself is furnished and designed very thoughtfully with lots of maritime touches and a nice warmth to it. The food is exceptional and put together by a chef who takes pride in his work as he has created a wonderful array of exquisite dishes that are full of flavour. There is a specials board with lobster and steak on that but as I said it does come at a very high cost. We are prepared to pay for the food on offer as its divine but it might just become an exclusive restaurant unless they produce a tea time special or something similar. Be prepared to pay between £6.00 - £12.00 for a starter then a main meal from £15.00 up to the lobster for £38.00 with sides such as chips coming in at £3.50. There is a good array of wines with the house wine at £16.95 and increasing depending on your taste. As I said a very expensive night but one we though was well worth the cost. Also, I must mention the level of service you get is excellent with the young girl serving us a real pleasure with good information about the menu.

Went with my husband as we both love seafood and we weren’t disappointed. The food was amazing, the staff were welcoming and friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The surroundings were both modern and cosy and the live music made it even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend, we’ve already booked a return visit.

Sadly didn't have our wine of choice but they came up with a good substitute. Food was top notch and the service was, as always, friendly and professional

The food was excellent but the waiter brought the main course before the starters had been served. As I had ordered the lobster at £38 I was concerned that the main would be kept warm or rewarded rather than being served fresh.

Not great value for money, lady with sax was too loud, had to shout across the table to talk. Restaurant was freezing had to dine with coats on. Wanted lobster, which was on the black board only to find out after we ordered the drinks that it was not available. Triple cooked chips were just the same as the ones they sell downstairs, halibut had no flavour and watery. Overall guttered

Great atmosphere and, more importantly, great food. Went off the specials board to save the normal menu for a return visit. Already tried to go back but it was fully booked!

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly and suppotive staff and the most delicious large plate of food. A wide variety of gins on the menu helps you wash down the meal. Great night.

Food was very nice and staff were pleasant. Cheese board consisted more of everything else than cheese and was only served with a steak knife to eat it with but will visit again. Drinks menu could be better.
