We live coming here we live in Stockton on Tees but travel here 2/3 times a year just to come to the Bombay Balti always enjoy the food and the staff are really friendly

Absolutely great food. Staff were busy as the restaurant was full but they managed it well. Didn't feel rushed. We really enjoy going every time

We visit Bombay Balti quite regularly and, as usual, the food was excellent and plentiful. However, we did find service a bit slow on this visit compared to usual. Only a minor complaint so won't stop us visiting in the future

Staff could have a been a little friendlier but overall nice

Had the Kashmiri Chicken. Comes with coconut rice, plenty of each so great value. Service was slightly confused as all staff very attentive so they were falling over each other to serve us - despite the restaurant being full. Recently refurbished so nice and clean. Recommend booking at weekends. All in all, a nice experience.

Food was good but the main restaurant was being decorated so dined in a temporary restaurant and it was a bit cold. Staff were very attentive. Will dine here again when moved back into main restaurant.

The food was cold.. it tasted like it had been 're heated... he chicken was hard and dry and there was no early bird menu... We paid 40 pound for a curry that had no taste... We was in a rush so didn't complain... but we will not be returning... disappointed really

The restaurant is in need of refurbishment, the carpets were threadbare and the food was nothing special our booking was for 21.30pm and we felt rushed to finish and leave so they could clear up.

I had the garlic chicken tikka and it was amazing! Bit of a wait after ordering but nice atmosphere so not too worried. Staff are lovely

Service was efficient and food was plentiful and very tasty. Meal was early bird served between 5 - 7pm consisting of two courses and very good value for £9.95.

Fab time here, tasty curry, naan bread, rice, poppadoms and chips. Reasonable price too especially in comparison to other curry houses in Lancaster! Would definitely recommend and come here again!

The meal was not up to standand burnt . we both left it. Far too busy to serve everyone. one point for the beer which we had to change to a bottle because the draft was off.

Nice Indian restaurant with a range of dishes and very generous portions! Food was well cooked. Staff were helpful when we said we needed a quick meal before catching a train.

Went here on 4/11/2017 with my husband for the first time,staff were excellent very attentive.we ordered poppadoms and relish selection then had two different meals and rice's it was gorgeous and plenty it.definitly recommend

Great service in arrival and excellent meal and rating would've been higher but for the service after we had eaten. After table had been cleared we sat for 40 minutes with no service at all, not being offered desert, coffee or further drinks! As a result we chose to leave and paid on way out! Disappointing end to what was a lovely meal.

Very tasty dishes as ever. Good service. Our guest were impressed. The early bird menu represents exceptional value for money. Another very happy evening at the Bombay Balti. We'll certainly be back.

Nice decor, friendly staff, good food with a wide selection and nice position sizes, however the seats could do with some upholstery to make them a little more comfortable.

We have visted Bombay Balti several times and have never been disappointed. This vsit was no exception. My wife has no palate for "the hot stuff" but always finds a fine selection of very good, mildly flavoured alternatives. Her choice this time was the Akbari Chicken Korma which she declared "absolutely delicious". I went for the Bombay Special Biryani and was very well pleased with my selection - a superb combination of flavours and textures as one looks for in a biryani. A good jug of Mango Lassi made a great accompaniment to the meal. As ever the quantities were more than generous. We came away feeling decidedly replete.

Friendly staff and service was excellent. The food was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. I can't wait to go again.

We were a party of 6 for my husbands birthday. We were greeted on our entrance and although it was quiet, we were served quickly. our food was nice but not outstanding. We have been several times over the past years but dont go frequently and feel it is looking a little dated. Everyone enjoyed there food except my daughters korma, which she said had too much coconut and the rice which came with the meal was overcooked. Overall it was a pleasant meal and reasonable and for that reason we would return.

We have used this restaurant for over 5 years even on Christmas day 2 years ago. This has to have been the worst meal we have ever had we will never go back. When we told the staff they were not interested

We had a fabulous meal , it was one of the best Indian meals we have had for a very long time. The service was excellent , could not fault it at all. Over all a lovely experience . Would recommend it to any one .

A big group of us luckily got the early bird menu, 8.95 pounds for two courses meal. Everyone enjoyed the food and was quite full. Will definitely visit there again.

Enjoyed the meal on the whole but was put off with the gentleman who was smoking a vape on the next table,next to my children I brought it up with a waitress who said it wasn't allowed in the restaurant but it wasn't addressed by anyone.
