Brinjal’s Cuisine in Brighton serve up incredible Indian food that will keep you coming back time and time again. Located on Lewes Road in Kemptown, this eatery is extremely popular with Brighton locals as well as with visitors from further afield. Their menu houses all the delicious dishes one would expect from a good Indian restaurant, but it’s their Chef’s Specials that are truly extraordinary. Choose from their afghani dish with tender chicken marinated in fruit juices, blended with herbs and topped with almonds and a mint sauce, the gosht kata masala with spring lamb, braised in sliced onion, ginger, garlic, garam masala and served in a thick sauce or their garlic chilli lamb for something a little bit exciting! Booking ahead is advised.
The staff at Brinjals are so lovely and welcoming. They had a huge party of about twenty before us and still managed to give good service. The food was excellent value for money and incredibly fresh - £31 for three of us including Naan and poppadoms! And it's BYO at no extra cost so that saved money. Atmosphere was a bit cafe like and the lighting a bit stark but positive nonetheless. Noisy but in a good way. Very happy!
The best panneer in town. The only place to get a Jalali. Staff are great. And the drinks are your own with no extra charge.
Great food and so much option! I love the fact it's BYO without being charged any extra. They also allow you to take what you don't eat home..
