The service was good but the food was disappointing. Was expecting more.

Excellent food. Good smoke house food and burgers. We were a party of 5. It was an rainy windy night so the restaurant was fairly quiet. There were perhaps 3 or 4 other parties present. The staff were helpful and greeted us with a smile and were attentive through out. The food arrived quickly and was very well prepared. Everyone in our party was happy with their choice. We're making plans to visit again.

Food was excellent, but the service was a little slow with drinks. But it was very busy. And only seemed to 3 front of house staff

Decided to try bubbaq while on a day trip to Edinburgh, having booked in advance as it was a Saturday night , thinking it would be busy, got the impression when we were seated that we really didn't need to bother as the upper section was empty. Staff were nice and friendly , showed us to a small table upstairs at the very back of the area and left us to make some choices. Once we had ordered food it was very quick to be served, abit too quick if I'm honest which for me is never a great sign. My partner ordered the death by bacon burger, with smothered fries and a coke , I ordered the bubbas tacos with smothered fries, side of onion rings and a Sprite. My partner liked his burger but wasnt impressed by the fries as they were warm, rather than hot. My soft shell tacos were filled with cajun chicken cubes, cold salsa, lettuce and non melted cheese on the top. The cold salsa and the lettuce made the chicken very luke warm and some of the chicken was rather dry also. I felt as though the it may have been sat under a heat lamp before being diced for the meal. The fries were warm, not hot, the onion rings however were fine ( hot and crunchy as expected ). Prices are abit steep for what you get, glad that they had the 20% off during January as I dont think I'd want to pay the regular prices. Nice enough place, decent staff, chilled environment, just a shame about the quailty of the food and the price attached to it. Maybe the menu needs abit to tweaking.

Interesting place to eat enjoyed my main( Death by Bacon). My starter( Chicken wings with Louisiana sauce) could have been better the wings did not have much meat tbh.

Visited Edinburugh for four days. Popped in for lunch and liked it so much we made a reservation and went back for dinner. The BBQ melt is unreal, highly recommend. The music though a bit too heavy metal for me.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was just not as amazing as the previous reviews led me to believe . The bbq wings were quite tasteless. The nachos were cheap and transparent , the cheese wasn’t even melted. Brisket on the burger was also not cooked properly either. All in all just a bit of a disappointment.

Absolutely love this place, highly recommend to everyone that’s wanting some good BBQ style food
