If you’re in London and you’re hungry for steak, look no further than Cabrera. It’s a new kid on the block having recently opened in August 2016, but Hither Green is lucky to have it. The menu is kept simple. There’s a small selection of sophisticated starters such as salmon ceviche, then in the steak department, diners can choose between sirloin, ribeye or fillet – each is priced per 100g. Sides include creamed spinach, garlic mushrooms and triple cooked chips, and there’s also the Cabrera roasted chicken if you’re feeling more like bird. Cabrera – to be found on Burnt Ash Road – is an intimate space that’s tastefully decorated. Steak triple cooked chips done excellently steak was on point I’d definitely go back again. The service was excellent and everyone else in my group also enjoyed there meals too.
What a great restaurant! We arrived late with baby in tow. The manager seated us with no fuss. We chose to do the set menu and throughly enjoyed all the courses. The steak was to die for as was the churros. We are hoping to return with the family to try the chateaubriand. Excellent service and food. Warm & welcoming ambiance.
