If you’re in London and you’re hungry for steak, look no further than Cabrera. It’s a new kid on the block having recently opened in August 2016, but Hither Green is lucky to have it. The menu is kept simple. There’s a small selection of sophisticated starters such as salmon ceviche, then in the steak department, diners can choose between sirloin, ribeye or fillet – each is priced per 100g. Sides include creamed spinach, garlic mushrooms and triple cooked chips, and there’s also the Cabrera roasted chicken if you’re feeling more like bird. Cabrera – to be found on Burnt Ash Road – is an intimate space that’s tastefully decorated.
