Brilliant food and attentive service. Staff dealt with my dietary requirements with ease and understanding and gave me lots of options to choose from. It was a welcoming and friendly environment and we had a wonderful meal. Lots of great gluten free options.

Service was very good, food also very good but not cheap. I wouldn’t visit again on the basis that we usually pay around £130 at our local Italian inclusive of service charge for a family of 3 & a similar meal it cost us £180 with less drinks.

Very enjoyable evening, with excellent attention to detail by the staff. The seafood linguine was exceptional.

First time visiting the Giardini di Sorrento 1913 cafe, and it was lovely. The food was as gorgeous as it always was at the City Rd venue, and Clint, Massimo's new partner was so very friendly and welcoming. We will be back. My only concern is how quickly it became really hot in the venue, it didn't help that we were visiting on one of the hottest days of the year granted, but also how smokey it was too after something had burnt in the kitchen. . Both me and my partner were left with stinging eyes whilst there and when we got home. More attention needed I think to how comfortable the customers are, but apart from that, the location is great, ample car parking appreciated, and customer service and food delicious! I wish Clint and Massimo all the luck in the world with their new venture and I will be back again soon.

I enjoyed the whole experience. The staff were friendly, but not intrusive. The food was excellent. The price reasonable. When leaving the owner introduced himself to me and made me feel that my custom was valued. I shall definitely be returning in the near future.

It is not my first vist, everytime can keep the standard, friendly and helpful staff and amazing food.

Our reservations were accepted. When we walked 20 minutes to the restaurant for our 930pm reservations, the restaurant was closed. It's hours we're until 11pm

It was our friend’s surprise birthday celebration. The food was amazing , it was fresh and served promptly. We ordered pizzas and day’s special pastas. Both veg and non-veg options were delicious! The group was very pleased to have found this hidden gem! The coffee and the tiramisu - not to be missed!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere - it’s very authentic; the sort of place that Italians would go to eat. Not pretentious at all and very homely. Food was delicious.

The food was average. We were not told told about the special 2 course lunch menu. My fault, I should have checked the web page prior to visit. The waiter/owner was grumpy. I did not appreciate being treated as if I was deaf when I could not rushed in choosing the main course from the a la carte specials menu written on blackboard. He did read through the items quickly. WE were the only customers so there was no need to speak to me impatiently, loudly & slowly.

as big fans of this restaurant we both commented that the food was 'average' this visit, the garlic bread with cheese was under toasted, and so tasted like a slice of bread, not at all garlicky. both our pasta mains lacked seasoning, and just tasted bland. sorry to be negative, but it is meant constructively.

Yet another excellent dining experience at this lovely restaurant. Will definitely be going back again.

This was a first time visit and the restaurant was lively and service was very good. The menu looked enticing. The portions were very large. Luckily we were advised to share the arancini starter. It was tasty but I’ve had better. The main courses were plentiful. We tried the crab linguine. The pasta was very Al dente and the crab was overpowering. The other main was the salmon with vodka and cream - again a generous portion which was enjoyed. We were too full to try the desserts.
