Excellent food and superb surroundings - BUT - having received a voucher from our daughter we thought it would be nice to have a couple of light meals on a couple of occasions. However on having a lovely meal we were forced to order unwanted extra drinks and desserts to use up the value of the voucher as we were told it can only be used once against any bill. No where on the voucher or on the website does it mention this. So having had a lovely meal and assuming we could used the balance on a second visit we ended up eating and drinking just to use up the voucher. Why would we want to leave 10 or 15 pounds left on the voucher as a tip. We are pensioners and receive vouchers from family and friends for special occasions and eatout alot and have never come across this before. A initial lovely evening ending up as being tainted. You have been warned.

Waitress was over at table as soon as we got in to ask what drinks we wanted. I hadn’t even taken a seat and was just taking my coat off. Didn’t have time to relax between courses. Felt we were rushed. Had to ask for pre-theatre menu. I noticed regulars are greeted with a smile and a cuddle but if you are not a regular you are treated differently. Meal was fine.

Quite disappointed felt we were rushed with our meal I was still eating and they can.e to take plates away kept on looking at us got the feeling we had to go.

Food was excellent, staff so friendly and helpful, myself, my daughter and granddaughter had a lovely evening. We will be back soon as we had such a lovely evening.

We had dinner tonight. The food is 😋 Service was great too . Very relaxed atmosphere. You don’t get rushed or feel you have to hurry your meal like some restaurants. Been a few times now for lunch and dinner and will keep coming back . 😀

Okay food but not very well presented. Service lacked warmth and sincerity. Lacklustre waiting staff. Atmosphere in restaurant buzzy but a bit noisy at times. Mains other than pasta overpriced for the standard received.
