The food was nice, would like to go back again

Went with friends Window seat as asked for Lovely owner 2 very friendly young waitresses Food was high quality Good portions True Turkish hospitality , they kept it open while we talked away in empty restaurant

I have taken clients to this restaurant on a regular basis from our business in Hockley, at 4.00pm approx. on the evening in question was told had private party booked so could not go....Fine I will never be going again and will ensure that businesses in area we are associated with do likewise !

A good walk from the city centre into the Jewellery Quarter you’ll hit Frederick Street. It is a gem hosting a plethora of alternative eateries. A must visit for while in Birmingham; at the top of the street is a little known Turkish restaurant named Cappadocia. It may be diminutive from the outside, but it’s quality within. The quality of service, food preparation and taste is heaven. Where else can you say that have you eaten baked cheese off a stone laden with pebbles? Okay, there may be some avant guard fine dining restaurant out there that does, but... for me it was a first. I loved the dishes, the people, the intimacy of Cappadocia. Remember to bring cash, their card machine is broken.

Good food, service pleasant if a little slow. Reasonably priced. We did have to move tables as there was a loose hatch in the floor and my guest was almost catapulted out of her chair every time someone walked past! Once we had moved we had a lovely evening.

It was ok! The level of service as well as the restaurant atmosphere and furniture should be improved. At the moment, it is about average level of service.

Unfortunately the waitress was very rude and irritated us multiple times. She was impolite, food was good but took long to come. The manger came and apologised and was very nice. However, we did not enjoy our meal due the attitude of the waitress

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. The only problem we had was had to request the dessert menu a couple of times though they were not busy.

In the first place we liked it. It’s a goodlooking restaurant and the starter was nice. Then we got the main (various meat with rice) then while eating I found a mosquitto or something in the rice. We left directly and after a few minutes my partner and I started to get a tremendous stomachache. We’ve only had breakfast in the morning so it could only be from the starter... We have had some bad first experience so we would not recommend this restaurant.

Really good food, however, no Turkish wine, they had run out,! Manager very unpleasant and miserable. Portions smaller than normal. May need to up their game to keep their loyal customers.

We went for a small family celebration with an elderly member and a child. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and interesting décor. The staff were friendly, polite and hospitable, considering the needs of the wide age range. The menu had a wide range of items, and we ordered one cold and one hot starter and four main dishes, which were all excellent and good portions. We would definitely go back there!

Felt rushed and forgotten about, bread starter came out the same time as the main. shame as the food was nice, music was quite loud

Good location, pleasant interior, good staff, pretty good food...but the hard non sound absorbent surfaces meant with two big noisy parties in it was difficult for the four in our party to hold an easy conversation.

Lovely evening at this bustling restaurant on a Saturday night. We had the 3 hot starters deal, my favourite was the goats cheese with honey which was absolutely delicious, we also had the tortilla and the haloumi and sausage - both also very tasty. After that, my husband chose the meatballs while I went for a lamb stew, both fab dishes again. We didn’t have room for dessert but really enjoyed the slices of baclava served up with the bill. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the waiting staff were very attentive and friendly, we even spent a little while chatting to the manager about our favourite destinations in Turkey and getting some travel tips for our next visit. Fantastic ambience, we’d very happily visit this restaurant again and I highly recommend it.
