In peaceful Upton Cross, just north of Liskeard, Caradon Inn serves exceptional British food in cosy surrounds. It’s about as traditional a pub and restaurant as you’re going to find in this beautiful part of the world, and the menu features options like pan-fried lamb’s liver and bacon, pie of the day, homemade lasagna and homemade curry. It’s all good stuff, folks, and it’s all made with love. You’ll find Caradon Inn directly opposite Sterts open-air amphitheatre on the fringe of Bodmin Moor, but the whole town of Liskeard is surrounded with history and boundless beauty, making this one of the best Cornwall dining spots we know of.
Hearty meals in country pub. Liver & bacon, mash, peas & gravy. Yorkshire pudding with sausages, etc. Sat in front of log fire. No room for dessert.
