best meal. we have had there in recent years.stop asking questions.

First time visiting-Lovely food/drinks and staff very welcoming and polite.

Should be more transparent on costs why are you offered a bottle of water at £4 when you are first seated Tap water 🚿 is drinkable in any case and also bread and olives. Better to see menu first before taking any order so aware of prices

The waitress was so helpful and very pleasant made it an enjoyable experience thank you

My friend and I had the Festive menu, which I also had today with another friend. I had the fig and pancetta with blue cheese . followed by crab and prawn risotto. Food was delicious. However, today my bruscheta was quite burnt on the edges, which changed the taste so I didn't eat that part as Im aware of carcinogens. I was informed by the waitress that often happens, but the meal last week was faultless with no burnt edges!! It was a bit disappointing as the meal generally was excellent, which s why I chose the same as last week!!

Staff very attentive. Food was very good and we really enjoyed our visit. For me the restaurant could be warmer. Would also appreciate a non alcoholic wine available.

Food was lovely, and the service was good. Unfortunately the restaurant is very cold, we did ask to move to a warmer table and they were very accommodating.

Our table was booked for 6.45 to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, 2 of the party (including the birthday girl) wanted pizza and there were none available. We left and went elsewhere. My daughter who is autistic was distraught and had a complete meltdown! I spoke to the manager who told me that they had had a very busy lunchtime and had underestimated what was needed, not acceptable!

Excellent service from start to finish. All food served hot which seems to be a rarity these days. We shared 3 starters between 3 of us, the arancini was superb. The calamari was ok but thinner rings than previous and maybe not as fresh as it could have been. Mains all good and chocolate brownie is shareable as too big for one in my opinion! Excellent decaf coffee.

Can't fault the food northern service, but, it was my Grabdaughters treat for her 11th Birthday shopping and lunch out with Grandma. I put it on my reservation email and mentioned jt when we arrived, that if was her birthday..... nothing! Last year we went to the Italyan next to Carluccios . They brought her desert out beautifully decorated with happy birthday. BeingAutustic she expected the same here and was very disappointed she said " well we wont come here again Grandma" says it all!

Really good arrabbiata before the theatre in Derby. The service was good too.

Thought it would be a special evening but sadly not worth the expense. Nice service from the one waiter on, on a Friday night!! Food was OK but my Chicken was over cooked and my wife's chicken in her risotto was difficult to find. Meal arrived so quickly that it must have been pre-cooked. Certainly won't be going to Derby restaurant again. Not up to the standard of ones we visited in Cambridge and London. We have been to the Cavendish Hotel in Baslow and for the same price we got a far far better meal. Come on Derby let's have a better quality imof restaurant. Sorry Carluccio's.

We had a family meal for my parents 59th wedding anniversary. Heather made sure we had everything we needed & was brilliant. She even arranged a surprise for my parents. The food was excellent, really tasty & presented beautifully. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

Didn’t go at a busy time so we received good service etc. I had spinach and ricotta ravioli which I felt didn’t have a lot of flavour. Perhaps it needed something to lift it to make it a bit more special. My partner was very happy with his bolognese and the chocolate brownie was fine.

We had a great meal. Food was spot-on, the staff were friendly and engaged and the restaurant had a good vibe. All excellent but extra special to how excellent - and hard-working - the staff are. Fully deserve full marks.

Saturday lunch …Excellent attentive service and delicious food. Will be back!

A very enjoyable lunch with friends. The meal was very good, served in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we didn't feel rushed to leave after the meal. We would be happy to eat there again.

We had a lovely lunch and the service was very good.

Fabulous place! Greeting was friendly and the place was so nice with space between the tables so not crushed in. The staff were so friendly and the meal was amazing. Highly recommended.

A special occasion as family wee visiting from USA. Sarah and Tom, and all Carluccio staff looked after us all so that we all came away very happy,l having enjoyed excellent food and very good service. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Had the traditional breakfast and for the first time ever it was very greasy, the plate had a lot of oil on it, didn’t enjoy. But we will be back as hopefully it was a one off

Firstly, the service was exemplary and the food was absolutely delicious, authentic, perfect, flavourful and presented so well, I want to say Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable evening we had. My family from South Africa were extremely impressed.
