Just back from bringing my elderly auntie and her friend for dinner. They were in Pompey for a holiday. The staff were amazing and were so good at accommodating their needs. They even got a free cake as they were leaving. Made it a fab introduction to eating out in the city. Thank you

Good meal although portions seem smaller. Service ok but not exceptional

The starters were good. The lasagna was not great but the duck and steak was good. Also the lasagna was a bit cold. Deserts great. Overall good

My parter chose vegetarian options, but I went for vegan. We both were very happy with our starters, lovely bruschetta , maybe a little too oily for my taste. He went for a Pizza and was very happy about it, I ordered vegan Penne Arriabata and found it a little too garlicky. Lastly we ordered deserts. He loved his Nutella pudding but the vegan option tasted like a bread, I wasn’t a big fan of a pudding at all. Hope there will be better vegan dessert options soon.

As a group of 9, there were absolutely no complaints. Food, drink, service was excellent. We will definitely be back. Already booked for September.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Had bruschetta for starter which was nice. I had lasagne and it was ok but not a lot of sauce so a bit dry. Not my best lasagne ever. Overall it was good but not special.

House wine was overpriced and foul. Starters small and over priced for what they were and I had to send my main course back as it looked and tasted awful. Waitress was lovely though and did her best to resolve it. My partners pizza was to a better standard. We will not be returning.

We chose Carluccio's when hosting a reunion dinner for 3 couples to celebrate 60 years of friendship. Everyone agreed that it had been a great experience all round.

Waited 45 mins for our main cse, portions were small and on the cool side. Staff hardly bothered to engage so no tip today from us. Such a shame. Love Carol’s usually but will go elsewhere next time.

Great food and good atmosphere. Got a little busier after we arrived, but still very good.

Service was amazing considering it was totally full. A little noisy but to be expected with a Xmas party right behind us. Waitress never forgot us and was working so hard to ensure everyone was being served. Excellent will come again.

A very lengthy wait before and between courses marred what was a lovely meal.

Was disappointed that the set menu was not available only the Christmas one and the choice was not as good so had good of the main menu on it was nice but very expensive
