Tasty food. Sad to see that Charlene was not there.

Lovely food, good service, comfortable seating, easy to talk, not too quiet, not too loud. Clean. It's a nice place to go with lots of space.

The noise levels weren't great but it was Christmas so it was to be expected. Service was slightly rushed and some servers better than others. Food was delicious!

The staff were lovely, but clearly overworked and stressed. My meal was fine, but my stepmother's looked absolutely awful. It was drowned in sauce and looked very odd. She said the texture was not nice. Not the staff's fault at all - as I said, they were lovely but overworked. Unfortunately, this did not make for a pleasant experience.

We booked on line and received confirmation. The staff were relaxed, helpful and welcoming. They were attentive but not intrusive. We enjoyed good food carefully prepared and presented and the portions were generous. A thoroughly good experience for our 42nd Wedding anniversary-thankyou.

Carluccio’s Reading has consistently been one of my stakeholders’ favourite venues, and it has never let me down — from the initial booking process right through to the end of each visit. The team handles reservations smoothly and professionally, and the service is always reliable. Every experience has been seamless, welcoming, and delivered with genuine care, which makes organising meals or meetings there effortless. Highly recommended for anyone looking for dependable service, great food, and a team that truly understands hospitality.

Comfy seating, warm, great food. Service was very brisk, maybe too rushed. Overall it's a lovely restaurant and the food is really good.

My husband and I visited Carluccio's in Reading tonight. Lovely restaurant and food was very tasty. We will be returning.

Fish was perfect but potatoes weren’t hot. They had run out of steak.

Brilliant venue for lunch meeting family coming from the west. Less than 5 minutes from Reading station. Highly recommend.

We went for our company Christmas lunch. The food was wonderful - really tasty. The cocktails were great as well. The wine was lovely, though too expensive for what it was - they didn't have the mid priced bottle of white so we had to upgrade which was too expensive really. We had a fabulous time. Really lovely waiting person - just the right level of attentiveness.

Not much atmosphere as we had an early dinner so restaurant quiet however the surroundings are good. Service a little slow considering it was so quiet. Food good though salad was very dry without a dressing on the chicken milanese but chicken was lovely

I asked for a table in the middle of the restaurant, so was surprised to see my 2 friends sitting against the wall, on the uncomfortable green bench seating, which was no good for the friend who has a bad back, so she had to sit on the chair, which is not that comfortable either... The food was very good, as was the service, but the noise level was so high we often couldn't hear ourselves speak! I should have been told that there were large groups coming and we might have chosen to go elsewhere...

Really lovely experience and great food - the brunch and breakfast menu is always delicious.

Food was good, staff very friendly. Only small thing were the pistachio donuts, very tough and boiling hot, had to sit and wait to allow them to be less of an inferno!
