Lovely restaurant with a good ambience. Food good and service.

Not much atmosphere as we had an early dinner so restaurant quiet however the surroundings are good. Service a little slow considering it was so quiet. Food good though salad was very dry without a dressing on the chicken milanese but chicken was lovely

I asked for a table in the middle of the restaurant, so was surprised to see my 2 friends sitting against the wall, on the uncomfortable green bench seating, which was no good for the friend who has a bad back, so she had to sit on the chair, which is not that comfortable either... The food was very good, as was the service, but the noise level was so high we often couldn't hear ourselves speak! I should have been told that there were large groups coming and we might have chosen to go elsewhere...

The waitron was surly to the point of rudeness. The food was expensive and very disappointing.

Unable to book later than 16:45 - apparently it was fully booked- rushed to arrive to an empty restaurant! But it was nice

The lovely people that work there make this my 'go-to' for entertaining clients in Reading. I always know I'm going to be welcomed back like an old friend.

Really lovely experience and great food - the brunch and breakfast menu is always delicious.

Food was good, staff very friendly. Only small thing were the pistachio donuts, very tough and boiling hot, had to sit and wait to allow them to be less of an inferno!

Helpful staff. Visited for breakfast with friends. Some of the meals were good but vegetarian option with avocado was not good quality.

There was a children's party going on with small boys running around the restaurant, popping balloons, screaming and generally creating a noisy, stressful atmosphere. I had expected a pleasant, relaxed restaurant experience, not a playground.

Excellent food. Though only one option for Vegan which hopefully would get better in future but the Vegan breakfast was very delicious. Definitely recommend. Good place , with nice open seating. Friendly staff.

Really lovely waitress, very attentive Quick service - attention to detail. She managed to find us a quiet corner in the room( very difficult) as there is always huge noise levels

I went there with my very best friend..I felt the food was mediocre,I had Milanese chicken and it was very overcooked.The dessert was alright,and the staff were good. It would not be my first choice for a lunch.

Warm welcome on a gloomy day. We were given a round booth seat so we were able to chat. Very nice vegetarian and kid's menu for my son (that was the primary reason I booked the restaurant to have lunch with my vegetarian friends). Good service and value for money.

Food was good. Could have done with more tomato sauce in the Ragu. Service was good.

Amazing service, and my friend was able to comfortably breastfed in a safe environment without disturbing customers, appropriate baby changing and clean toilets also available. Wide variety of menu options. Cranberry mocktails and spicy sausage pasta were incredible. Lovely quick spot for a friends catch up. Thank you very much.

Birthday breakfast with my family and it was, as usual, excellent. The waitress was lovely with efficient and timely service. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t beat a Monday breakfast at Carluccios to start your week off on a great note!

Yet another very enjoyable visit to Carluccio's in Reading. As always, very quick delivery of food and attentive service. Very delicious food and drinks. Will return soon, I'm sure.

Food not good especially the chicken saltimbocca which was over cooked, shrivelled and dry and drowned in a watery gravy tasting like Bisto gravy granules. Poor and expensive
