About Casa Antonio
If you’re looking for quality, authentic Italian cuisine in Benton, you’d do well to pop round to Tony’s house for a three-course lunch or dinner special, if you’re feeling especially frugal, or anytime if you simply want some of the most down to earth Italian food in the Newcastle area. That said, Casa Antonio do a great traditional British SUnday lunch, too, with homemade Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes… but the focus here is on good food and fine wine in a delightful, stylish trattoria atmosphere. The restaurant’s Front Street premises are minutes away from both Four Lane Ends and Benton subway stations, making it an easy trek from elsewhere in the city, but you’ll want to book ahead because Casa Antonio tends to pack out with dinner daters and large groups of friends and family.

From the moment you walk in the door, you are welcomed by friendly staff. The food and service were both fantastic. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone.
As usual great food, great atmosphere and so reasonably priced. Been here so many times over many, many years, and the standard never slips. Well done Casa!!
Easy online booking service. Friendly welcome at restaurant and excellent, swift service by a team of servers throughout the evening. Good food and good choice of options. We will become regulars for sure! :-)
First time I've been here in a while. Staff friendly, service good, food excellent. Probably a little more expensive than I have paid at nearby Amicis. However, will consider coming back again.
It's always a very pleasant experience here, the staff are friendly and the food is fabulous. I'm disabled and they accommodate my needs quite well, the only downside is that the disabled toilet is downstairs and really needs a radar lock system along with a toilet roll holder, otherwise brilliant.
First visit here, quite impressed! Food very good for value, definitely a budget meal out but for the amount of food we got it couldn't be faulted! House red wine was lovely. Bottle of wine and three courses for two people - just under £40. Nice atmosphere, busy but not overly noisy. Staff super friendly. Will be back!
Potato skins were poor bitty and dried up but main course very nice. Service was good. Nice atmosphere. Have not been for a long time but would go back, value for money.
Very good value for money even when not eating in happy hour. Attentive service if a little pushy on the specials! Happy to customise the order to suit.
Casas had an absolute shocker, hope it's just a one off as all are previous experiences have been great, no table, no service and food well😣
