We had a fantastic time, not least because of the efforts of the proprietor to entertain and even to educate us, in a mischevious way, about the excellent food and drink we were eating. We were there longer and ate more than we'd planned and loved every minute.

The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and provided a great relaxed service. A great find, and will definitely return.

Portion size very small for the price but the food did taste good. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding area offering better deals. Service was poor.

The restaurant is lively and informal. The food and drink are good, and appropriate to the style and prices charged. It is good at what it does and represents good value for money.

Great atmosphere with friendly service. Overall a very pleasant experience. The menu was rather limited for vegetarians but as this was my first visit was perfectly adequate.

Great food and friendly staff you can always tell a restaurant is good when it's full. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back for some salsa lessons!

We booked a table for three at 5.30pm prior to a visit to the theatre. Service was excellent - helpful and friendly. We all chose from the special two course pre theatre menu and ordered the House White wine - all good quality and certainly value for money. Will certainly revisit.

Food was good although quite small portions. Service was frustratingly slow as we were going to the theatre and consequently under time constraints. We waited over 30 minutes before getting our starters.

Nice and relaxing place - at the beginning. We had a nice conversation with David - the owner. The food and drinks were good. Time moved on so pleasant until we received the bill. Suddenly the waiter twice informed us that they need our table very urgent. It was a huge surpsise for us: I couldn't finish my mojito and I had to wait for my boyfriend with our jackets at the entryway - he was at the toilet then. It was a very unpleasant experience for both of us and we are not going to visit this place again.

Lovely food and friendly staff with a great South American atmosphere. The waiter wasn't aware of the early offer but he sorted it out without any hassle and we had a delicious Columbian coffee after the meal on the sofa's upstairs. I woud recommend to anyone.

Great atmosphere, with an authentic feel. The food - steak/chorizo combo and fish of the day - was excellent, with a special mention for the 'freshest' salad accompaniment, which was as described. Friendly, efficient service and decent house wine, too. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

We had the pre-theatre 2 course meal for just under £10 on a Friday night. The place was busy, bordering on too cramped, and we got our food quickly after ordering (the main course a little too quickly as it was there no sooner than our starters had been cleared away). The food was nice (meatballs, and chicken kebab with chunky chips). Don't expect a huge portion in this particular offer and the chips although larger than McDonalds fries, were way off being chunky. We would have had dessert but we couldn't attract attention once our main meal had been cleared - not even to pay the bill - so had to leave for our show without course number 3 sadly as the banana cake looked very tempting! The staff were all polite and helpful in the main and the beers were good!

Good cuisine, quite straightforward not over fancy, reasonably priced and served quickly. Ideal pre- theatre. Few tables so booking needed to ensure your place especially early evening.

The food was delicious, the service was great, really quick. The only problem with our meal from the pre-theatre menu was that we thought the portions were too small. It's reasonable value all the same, but I would rather have paid a little more and not left feeling quite so hungry.

Was very quiet when we arrived so lots of attention. Got food quickly as was on a tight time due to concert after. Good great drinks great just 1 small 'thing' - why serve salsa & guacamole in tiny pots (especially when it's so yummy!). We ordered extra and paid but would have liked a better sized portion. Overall great would go again.

The meal was quite nice. I had been before and it was nicer on that occasion. Chilli was very salty. It was very busy and service was a bit haphazard. But for the pre theatre menu it was good value.

Unfortunately I was ill and not able to appreciate the delights of Colombian cuisine to a great extent but my companions were delighted with the variety and plentiful amount of choice of foods. Their only regret was the limited wine choices.

Although plenty of room when we arrived, within 15 minutes it was very busy so booking in advance was a good idea. Food quite good and different from what we thought it would be. Service good. Good value for what we paid.

Friendly informal atmosphere, good food and drinks selection, excellent coffee. We went as a party of three for a pre-show meal (they do a special fixed price pre-show two course menu for £9.95 but we chose the a la carte). Great location for Leeds Grand Theatre. Also cater for larger parties and have a room above with dance floor. Will go again.
