If you love pedigree cats then this is the place to visit, especially if you're thinking about getting one yourself. Although very lazy the cats are stunning, healthy and like a good old fuss.

Amazing, an experience, not a cafe! Oh the cats, it's all about the furry felines, I've never had such a joyous wonderful hour, we all loved it!

The wife loved it, cats arent phased whatsoever, all laid back and calm, used a groupon and had nice tea/coffee and brownies, it wasnt too busy so we basically could have stayed as long as we liked, although an hour sufficed.

Catspaw Cino is a great little cafe. A very relaxed atmosphere with friendly cats. The Chinese teas were great, especially the pot tea. We will definitely be returning.

Good coffee and massive cake! The cats are beautiful want to take them all home, gorgeous. Tip - cake is big enough for two people.

Food fairly basic, but understandable as they cannot make the food themselves for hygiene reasons. Good experience, friendly cats and staff, great for cat lovers.

Lovely atmosphere and cats. Cats were more interested in treats than people but it was a very relaxing atmosphere and cats were well looked after.

Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, the coffee was great, the fruit scone was one of the best I've had in ages and, of course, saving the best tis last, the cats were all super adorable and lovely to be around. 10/10 would definitely recommend for anyone who loves cats.

Coffee was lovely Peppermint traybake was yummy and the tuna sandwich was very tasty, the brown bread that it was served on was so soft and delicious! The staff are lovely, nice relaxing music in the background, The cats are lush!! Kept themselves to themselves mainly but had a good wonder around. I can not wait to go back!!

Food was great! Don't get the coca cola. Cats were antisocial unless you had cat treats. They'd slink away from all customers and run off, high on shelves and away in their beds. However as soon as their dinner was out, every cat was out. As soon as dinner was over, all were gone again. It's no better an experience than going to a see a friend that had a cat that doesn't like to be petted. Shame really.

Cats are lovely but not as friendly or playful as I would have liked them to be which was disappointing. I've been at different times and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Food is average but nice touches ie Catpawcino crockery, kitty on top of hot chocolate.

A very special coffee shop where everyone enjoys the fun and soothing atmosphere created by 6 gorgeous cats. We had coffee and traybake which was very good. It seems expensive but as an exclusive treat it works!

Fantastic atmosphere with views of the Tyne. Some very happy and handsome cats too! Great menu, and some lovely details, like Catpawcino themed teapots and cups. I'd recommend a visit, and will be returning! 😻

Went to Catpawchino this afternoon, on arrival we were met by a friendly helpful member off staff to explain a couple of rules before entering ie- no feeding the cats and flash turned off when taking any photos. First thing I thought off when entering the room was how relaxed the atmosphere was. All cats were asleep but had woken 20 mins before we left, which was nice. Menu was basic but food was tasty enough. Cats friendly and seemed to enjoy the company of strangers looking/petting them. It was something different and i would recommend this cafe especially if you are a cat lover. It was busy so I would defintently book a table to avoid disappointment.

Nice food. But didn't have any paninis or some of the cakes and biscuits. Which wouldn't be a problem but the menu is pretty small to start with Cats lots of fun and very cute though.

Lovely cats and place . Food could be better though. I had a dry scone. Apart from that I love it. Especially Alfie the ragdoll.

I had a wonderful time. I was a bit concerned about how hygienic the cafe would be but they do a very good job of keeping on top of the cat hair. It's possibly the cleanest cafe I've been in so far this year. The cats were wonderful and the staff were very nice. They were friendly but not climbing on everything (the cats and the staff...). The only thing that could be improved is the availability of the food on the menu. As someone with a rare food allergy I find it hard to choose food I can eat from a menu in general so availability is very important to me. That being said, the gentleman that served us made sure that my sandwich was made so it was safe for me to eat. My sandwich, my mocha and my peppermint traybake were all absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back, hopefully not at nap time next time.

Good place, sitting arrangements could've been a bit better, struggling for space a little, but overall this café is well worth a visit. The cats are adorable, pity there were all asleep :( . Will be coming back in a very near future, hopefully the kitties will play with us next time!

Overall my daughter & I enjoyed our visit to CATPAWCINO and would consider a return visit, however we wouldn't recommend going at 1pm, as we did, five of the six beautiful cats were asleep. The one remaining active cat was quite friendly, and did circulate among the customers. The menu is good, for a small cafe, the paninis were very tasty. Speed of service from the kitchen could be improved, we waited half an hour for our food, and the cafe was not very busy. Catpawcino has a very relaxed ambiance and is definitely worth a visit.

If you are expecting coffee in a mad cattery you will be disappointed. Not sure what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised. I treated my sister as her Easter Egg and we both agreed what a calming, enchanted experience. The cats of course are the draw and they are all beautiful, cute and wonderful to watch. A must to be put on anyone's bucket list and I am sure it will not be our only visit. Congratulations on a great idea and a big thank you to the young man who was working front of house, he was pleasant, informative and very helpful.

Lovely! Small but super friendly cafe. Relaxed place, it's pretty obvious the cats are well treated, loved and looked after in a lovely clean spacious environment. Be aware though that they are cats, they will play but don't expect them to just be all over you constantly, they're not performing animals and from other reviews people seem to forget this. The girl who served us and welcomed us in was adorable and super friendly, defiantly made us feel at home.

I would highly recommend Catpawcino to tourists, students, and working professionals alike. It is conveniently located opposite the scenic Quayside and is a great place to relax surrounded by beautiful fury companions and good coffee. (or tea)
