CAU - Blackheath

Went here with friends for an evening out. Food was delicious too much to eat it all so took a doggy bag, waitress was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Worth a visit

Great bottomless brunch with friends. We Really enjoyed the food and our prosecco was topped up regularly. Our waitress was friendly and we would book again.

Welcoming staff, service was good despite it being a very busy afternoon. The food choices are enough to cater to most tastes and was very tasty. Overall a really enjoyable visit

Really good food. We both had steak and got really decent sized portions. The Malbec wine was lovely and the cocktails were really good. Polite and friendly table service too.

Tables are too close together - lacking privacy. Food was good, service was also good but, as a matter of principle, I disapprove of any restaurant that automatically charges for service (in this case, 12.5%). I was not in the mood for challenging this. Even in the USA, the home of 'service charging', you are always given the option. I won't be rushing back to Cau as a result.

We always enjoy going to Cau, the service is always excellent. However I was sad that they changed their bread basket which is now just ok, whereas it used to be amazing. I asked for a rare steak but came medium - staff v apologetic and happy to change, and gave me an extra side for free. Would go back soon!

The service was very slow and then the staff wanted the table before we finished Food fine though but very expensive and the restaurant very clean and bright

Lovely food good service but heating not working so I was quite cold even with the heaters, mainly as I was opposite the door. Enjoyed the meal though.

Super steaks and polite, efficient service. The restaurant was heaving as it was bonfire night, but the staff remained calm. Will revisit for lunch soon, when there's more space. Only slight concern was the level of music, should have been background and not dominating.

The food (as always) was great although the air was cold which made it a very uncomfortable experience. Plus it was Halloween and there were a few trick or treaters which interrupted the night.

Great Sunday lunch with good service. Tables could have been cleared quicker and guests spread more out given plenty of room. On whole good value.

Great food, great drinks and friendly service. Good quality good with a nice choices. Highly recommend this place and will be going back very soon
