Chamuyo Argentine Steakhouse

We had our first meal here on Saturday and were blown away. The atmosphere was great, a really nice cosy feel. The service was amazing, very attentive, and the food came out in no time at all. The steaks were the best steaks we have had out in a long long time. Cooked to absolute perfection, along with the side dishes we had. We will certainly be going back. Thank you :)

Ordered sausage to start and sirloin steaks for main. Food was great. Steaks were slightly overcooked (ordered medium-rare and they came out medium) but they were still tasty. Staff were welcoming and attentive.

Beautiful food...flavours were second to none. I would go as far to say it was the best Steak I've eaten...and that's coming from a keen steak eatter! Service was very friendly and attentive too. Would highly recommend...will definitely be eating there again...and I live miles away in London!

Nice steak but the sides nothing special, the grilled vegetables were not grilled, but roasted, and swimming in a very cheap oil. Overall the service was nice but I won't go back.

As always the most amazing steak and the service is fantastic

The front part of the restaurant is slightly echoey and when full is hard to hear your other guests. The seats are a little hard. the steak was great, only had one vein of sinew and had a lovely flavour. The grilled veg were perfectly grilled and still had crunch.

Excellent service and good food , was unfortunately quite noisy due to a family with unsupervised young children who were behaving badly, which was a surprise as we had a late booking We were in a small room at the back of the restaurant between the garden and front of the restaurant which felt a bit like a cubbyhole And had three closely packed tables

Thyroid food and service was exceptional. We had the black pudding starter which melted in your mouth, the chorizo which was lovely and the main was the sharing steak selection which was cooked to perfection. Only issue is that the toilets were disappointing dirty, especially the ladies

What a great restaurant and absolutely delicious food. I have visited South America many times and cam say the steak here, the empanadas and dolce leite were delicious. The meal was worth every penny. The manageress with the headscarf was superb and we had a great chat. The waitress studying at uni in child education and the young lad hoping to go to Cambridge uni were a real pleasure to talk too. I will definitely be coming back. They even managed to keep a straight face as I sucumb to cramp in both legs (blame the gym) whilst seated at the table.

Utterly fabulous meal. Food, wine and service were all out of this world. Compliments to Chamuyo for a job well done.

In June I visited the Bayswater branch; in August I came to Brighton. Two excellent dinners.

As a a family of 7 we have dined in Chamuyo once a year when we come to Brighton and this time we were greeted as old friends. The staff and atmosphere are lovely and welcoming and the steaks are delicious. We hope to return for our fourth visit at the same time next year.
