Excellent meal and great service as always! We were celebrating my Son’s birthday and the lovely staff all sang happy birthday to him. Already looking forward to our next visit. Best restaurant for steak in Brighton and Hove.

We have visited Chamuyo a few times. The staff are lovely and the food is excellent what more could you want. Would recommend for an excellent steak and a warm welcome.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was disappointing. Starters lacking. Steak over cooked and very salty. Not was I expecting from a steak restaurant.

What can I say, The staff are really attentive without being buggy or annoying. Even the chef pops out to check that the food is to your liking (Classy customer service) The food…… Oh My God the food, both myself and my brother have never had steak that simply melted in the mouth like this, I had the 350g ribeye and my brother had the 350g sirloin and both were sooooooooooo good. The only minus point was maybe a tad too much salt, but even that didn’t take anything away from an amazing meal. Thank you to all the staff for making my birthday dinner the best ever. I will certainly be back again.

Food was good but we were seated in a v odd area next to a group of a v drunk group of men who were v noisy so ambiance score was zero

We chose the sharing plate with all four steak types which was served on a sizzling hot plate & came with two sauces, chips & a salad. All the food was delicious and we’d thoroughly recommend eating here.

Went to celebrate my husband's birthday and cannot fault this lovely little restaurant tucked away in the Lanes. The steaks were amazing and perfectly cooked. The staff were attentive and friendly and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely come again and tell all my friends!

First time visiting and it was recommended by a friend. Quite vibrant with pleasant and engaging staff. We opted for the meat taster which has 4 decent size cuts of steak however, the cuts of meat were not identified as to which one was which and the salad was a very basic one with tomatoes and cucumber with a few mixed leaves so very disappointing and the chunky chips although okay, was a very small portion and certainly not enough for two. Would I go back, probably not but the steak was delicious. I just didn’t know what cut of meat we were eating. Was quite pricey too

This restaurant is amazing. It's fairly small, so I would suggest you book well in advance. We have been here twice now, and both times for my Birthday. The steaks are cooked to perfection. The ambiance is fabulous. The staff are really friendly. Would recommend to all meat eaters .

I've eaten Steak in many , many restaurants but last night my Mrs & i were blown away by the most fantastic Steaks we've ever eaten . They were cooked to perfection as we like them rare to medium ! So very tasty & juicy. Thank you for the wonderful food & service Chamuyo. They been there for 5 years how comes ive never found them before . Ha ha long may the continue. We are definatly going back again soon !

Food was great! Second time I have visited and it was equally good both times!

This is our second visit to Chamuyo in 6 months.. There can be the worry that things have changed (the menu, the Chef) and wasn't as good as you remembered. But, both times have been fantastic.
