This was my first time trying authentic Persian food, and I cannot rate the quality high enough. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, which made our dining experience so much better. Will definitely be back, and I highly recommend people try this place.

Had hoped to really enjoy this restaurant as I love Middle Eastern food - but after the friendly welcome I was really disappointed. The lamb, aubergine & bean stew seemed to be missing any aubergine & substance! Economical but not worth it! Would rather pay more for a true stew. My partner’s vegetarian aubergine dish was ok but no protein involved! Will eat elsewhere in future. 🥲

The most unique and fabulous dining experience. The food is exceptional, the service attentive but not intrusive. If you like Mediterranean cuisine, (or even more everyday food), Chechek’s is a must in Aberfeldy.

General cleanliness very poor - cutlery on table dirty, and glass which juice was served felt gritty on the outside when held . The hair covers badly need a wash -they are stained and the laminate flooring needs a thorough clean, especially round the skirtings .

Hidden gem in Aberfeldy. Excellent Mediterranean and Iranian food, friendly and inviting place. The host /owner is a great chef, and conversationalist, great to have met him and dined there.

This is the best Middle Eastern food i have eaten in a long time - fantastic - lucky Aberfeldy !!!!!

Had lovely freshly cooked kebabs, I had chicken my husband had the mixed kebab both delicious.

Wonderful home cooked food. Cheerful relaxed atmosphere. Longstanding family run restaurant. We have now made it a regular haunt when we go to Aberfeldy. It is BYOB , so when we eat our, not only is the food great but the bill is very reasonable. Would highly recommend. Dr Sanders

Very authentic restaurant. Food was great and the owners were super friendly. It's an unlicensed restaurant so bring your own booze if you want.

The venue was not clean and neither was some of the plates and utensils. Most of the food was fair to good and the owners were clearly working hard to meet the demands and were very welcoming. It was obvious another server or kitchen assistant was required.

Great service and food. Only problem was we didn't know it was cash only. Cash machine in Aberfeldy wasn't working and could only get £10 cash via the Co-op so by the time we emptied our purses and paid the bill, we didn't have enough for a decent tip. All in all very enjoyable though and lovely people
