Cold welcome by waiter. Cutlery dirty, asked for two gin & tonics. Only had enough gin for one drink!!!! Food not great. I asked for spaghetti.. got linguine instead! Won’t be back

Just had the most gorgeous meal, the flavours exploded in your mouth. Can’t wait to return to make our way through the rest of the menu. The owners were both present and made our evening even more special and looked after us second to none.

A lovely meal in most respects though attention to detail- the green salad wasn’t dresses as it usually is, the salmon oversalted- not as good as previous experiences here. My table request wasn’t fulfilled and we, like other guests struggled for space on the tiny table- cutlery regularly ending up on the floor.

Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient. Just got a little cool when the door was opened... Sat in the wrong place.

The food was delicious, it was a little quiet but it was a Monday night. The food was freshly cooked. Definitely recommend and go again. Best Italian I’ve had for ages.

First time at Cheikhos, the food was really good, very tasty and freshly made. Even though the restaurant was busy we did not have to wait long for our food, we were given an appetiser on the house before our starter arrived. It was so nice to eat out somewhere that was so different from the norm, there was an authentic feel to the restaurant and the staff were friendly. Good value for money, we will definitely be going again.

A few weeks ago I went with a party of 11 and had a lovely meal. Because of this, I decided to take my elderly friend there as a treat and how disappointing was the meal. I ordered Cacciatore chicken, same as I had , the previous visit. It was very orange and didn't have any mozzarella stuffing. I queried with the waitress who agreed it didn't look right. She came back and said the chef has misread her handwriting and cooked the wrong dish. I would get the correct dish within 5 minutes. Meantime my friend had got his meal. His chicken was dry and overcooked. (By the time my meal arrived my friend had finished his. However when I pointed this out to the waitress he was given a free dessert, which he said was nice) (I was also brought a free glass of red wine, however, as I was drinking white wine, this seemed a bit random. But the white wine was not very good and the free wine was quite nice!) When my dinner arrived, it didn't look much different, it certainly didn't taste any better and the chicken was overcooked and chewy. I asked for the bill which arrived and we were then ignored. We put the correct money on the table and left with no further interaction from the staff. I would not bother to travel there again. Rosemary Marshall

We love Cheiko's. The service is very good. The menu is expansive. The Prices are reasonable. The food is excellent. What more could you want?

Friendly service and atmosphere. Excellent food. Waiting time to place order was a little longer than expected. This was due to new customers arriving and needing to be seated- with only one member of staff at front of service

Food and the service were very good and the atmosphere very pleasant. The only thing we would say from our point of view was that the music was a little too loud from were we were sitting.

Another lovely meal well presented and delicious. One can always be sure ,from my view point that guests will receive a great meal in relaxing surroundings. We will be back -AGAIN

I really love this place. We go every few months and the food is always amazing and even better, it's nevery busy though I can't understand why it isn't.

Fantastic restaurant. All the food is freshly cooked and tasty, nothing is rushed. Portion sizes are perfect and the service is excellent. Much better than the Italian chain restaurants.

Main course and starters were ok, dessert was excellent. Overall the meal was quite expensive for what it was. Service was quite slow and menu choices are limited
