Chelsea Bar and Brasserie

Lovely atmosphere, cosy and yet modern and fresh. Food was of a high quality and arrived quickly. Even though there was a large party on another table the waitress was still very attentive.

It’s our second time having our dinner at Chelsea Bar. Great experience. Tasty food,lovely atmosphere,lovely staff & great hospitality. It feels like our second home. My family & i really enjoys your food. We will always come. No doubt,all my family & friends will come. Keep it up.😋😋😋😋

Travelling North from Portsmouth Cheltenham was an ideal place for my wife and I to have lunch and having seen good reviews for the Chelsea Bar and Brasserie booked a table. The interior design is very modern, two walls being lined with bottles of wine from the wine list, matt black ceiling and simplistically-styled tables and chairs. To the food; my wife had deep fried Baby Camembert followed by Pork Loin with Roast Potatoes with she allowed me to try and it was tender and delicious and I had Chicken Strips with Tamarind Sauce, piquant but also sweet, followed by Chicken, Chorizo & Mushroom Tagliateli which was rich, creamy and very tasty. We had a Hungarian Pinot Grigio that was an ideal accompaniment and not expensive. We were served by Paula & Dana who were delightful. The overall experience was excellent and we have definitely decided that the next time we in the vicinity we will be reserving a table at Chelsea for sure. I should add that we had the special offer lunch and our 2 courses cost £20 each

An out of town’er who visited Chelsea Bar/Brasserie with local friends. Quiet off the beaten track location. Lovely ambience, funky decor and great service. Excellent choice of dishes on offer. Recommended and will visit again. Dhillon

Nice restaurant, food was excellent but disappointed with the limited choice of sweet dishes. Don't like the way very small portions of food are served up all dressed up and fancy, just to look bigger and ultimately try and justify the high prices! Usual vastly overpriced drinks.

The food was very nice, the staff were friendly and service was very quick. Both our meat dishes were requested to be served "medium" but both were just a little over that, but otherwise very enjoyable

Very nice experience. Good food and friendly service. Bit on the expensive side and management have such a cheek trying to charge for water, we're not America!! It's perfectly ok to drink tap water!! Would definitely return

We had a really nice meal it's a lovely restaurant, the service was good. There was some exterior works going on with scaffolding up but that would definitely not stop us returning again! X

The restaurant was very good. Food was plentiful and good quality. Would not hesitate to go again. Staff were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble for them. The bar has N interesting selection of drinks. We did not try them due to driving but the cocktail selection was quite extensive

Shame about all the scaffolding-'sure it hasn't done their business any favours. Nice food but my husband is a big chap and I think 3 scallops as a starter wasn't enough for him although he said they were very nice. Nice meal, Nice service 3 Courses plus 2 cocktails £100

a second visit for us for a lovely Sunday lunch. the restaurant was packed but the service and the food quality were fantastic as was our previous visit.

I did a Groupon Sunday lunch. Whilst it was extremely good value for money , it was described as a Continental roast. It wasn't sliced or carved meat of a joint. However, it tasted nice and again , great value for money with the coupon.

Excellent customer service. Good Sunday roast. Only losing a point as only 2 vegetables. Would have liked the option to add more vegetables as side dishes.

We use this restaurant quite regularly. The lunch deal is excellent value for money, love the Sunday lunch and an evening out there is great. Good food, reasonable rates and lovely staff

The waiter was very pleasant and charming. He was very knowledgeable about what was in the menu and also about the drinks the establishment served. We had roast beef Sunday lunch and it was lovely.

Staff are really helpful and attentive, music was good although a little loud for a good dining experience as too close to tables the food..... well I know why this is on groupon! Spicy vegetables - no, covered in chilli flakes to make sure you choke! What happened to fresh ingredients and portion sizes are all over the place - not cheap for what you get either!

The staff were very welcoming and pleasant.the food was hit and miss.The venison was tough and the chicken salad resembled a bag of mixed lettuce leaves.we were told there was water on the tabla for us and offered bread and olives .....which I thought was part of excellent customer service for a place of this calibre.At no point were we told that this was going to be charged.Disappointing meal.

this was my first visit and was very impressed with the food, staff and surroundings. I would highly recommend a visit, Monday night has a live jazz band, which added to the overall experience.

The food was excellent and very good value and the service was pleasant and professional. Clean and comfortable place to dine. The only reason I didn't give it 10/10 is because the house/trance/rave music which was playing wasn't really appropriate for a relaxing lunch with friends!

Great food and great service. The lunch menu was excellent value at two courses for £9.95 or three courses for £12.95. Good choice of dishes available. Will be returning to dine again asap!

food good, waiter great. there was not much of the course that came as part of the groupon deal, but it was very good. no veg accompaniment however. beware the sweets. very expensive and the service charge that is automatically added to the bill is 25 % !!!

The service was great, the food was really good and very nicely presented. Cannot fault it for a nice lunch. Head waiter and table waitress were both polite and did a good job, taking time to chat and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Delightful experience and my friend who was a first time diner at the restaurant, also agrees with me. Lovely time.

Amazing night, lovely staff would defo go again however only thing I would say is they add a 20% optional 'tip' to the bill an if u don't notice it u will just pay! I prefer to decide my own tip an give it direct to the person who served me as by paying it on card it's not necessarily going to ur waiter/waitress

Had Xmas dinner. Nice looking place but was a bit pricey for what it was. Would still go back for a normal lunch or dinner to experience their standard menu.

Lovely food and good service, pricey but worth it. We could have picked a number of different dishes. Would go again but it would need to be a special occasion.
