No food, no chef, didn't even know it was possible to book on line. Travelled to old delapidated pub with unused car park, great fire but no customers. Annoyed.

It was an old pub. Smelt of musky old furniture. Had to sit as close to the fire as poss as it was a cold place. We had roast. NO ROAST POTATOES just mash. The beef was horrible fatty and stringy very difficult to cut. Coke was flat. Do not recommend for food. Bar staff were very nice and friendly.

Very good home-cooked food and good, friendly service, a good choice of real ales, and all at reasonable prices, sadly let down by shabby decor.

Unfortunately our experience was not the best! A lot of what we asked for was not available. The service was not good and the pub seemed tired and run down. We went in through the back door and it was untidy with a table covered with bird seed ! Also one member of stake was on the phone and the language which we could hear clearly, was choice to say the least. All in all very disappointing.

On arriving we were made to feel very welcome. The young lady was working on her own and managed amazingly. We all had the surf and turf which was done to perfection. Would definitely revisit.

A remote location but a great experience. Just a basic pub with no frills but there was a very welcoming fire. Staff very friendly and the steak was excellent.

Lovely traditional country pub with open fire that makes you feel welcome. The food was amazing, we had the giant filled Yorkshire pudding and it was divine. Would definitely recommend and we are already planning our next visit.

Food good, although 2 steaks could have been warmer. Service good when available but had to find staff to order desserts and to get the bill. Had been before but was disappointed with this visit

Appears to have changed landlord for the worse. Food was luke warm, some dishes inedible and had to be sent back, all other dishes were just average, been warmed up and dry. Very disappointing as had been before and had a great experience, won't be heading back.
