On the outskirts of London, Chingón is a lively Mexican restaurant proving that you don’t have to be smack in the middle of the city to have a good time. Chingón first opened in 2020, by the same team that brought the much-loved establishments Hotbox and Chuck Burgers to London. This new venture adds a splash of colour to Uxbridge Road in Hatch End with a menu that heroes the punchy flavours of Mexican street food and BBQ. Think traditional tacos, charcoaled corn on the cob loaded with chipotle, smoked brisket, churros – and of course a fully stocked bar pouring tequila, margaritas, Mezcal and more. Just as fun as the food is the restaurant’s bright space, where a green oasis of plants hang from the ceiling and Frida-inspired artwork adorns the walls.
