Christakis York Street

This restaurant has closed. My party and I turned up to see a notice on the door saying that the nearest branch was now on Smithdown Road. I prebooked for a party of 6 to celebrate a colleague becoming a qualified solicitor. Due to it being a busy Friday night in the city centre we struggled to find somewhere to accommodate us and were very disappointed. I REPEAT: THIS RESTAURANT ON YORK STREET HAS CLOSED. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Great food served by lovely people. Relocating soon to Smithdown Road and looking forward to visiting again! Give Christakis a try, you won't be disappointed.

A fun evening with music and dancing. Food was very basic but cheaply priced. Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful apart from the one that spilt a drink over us and didn't apologize.

Fantastic food at a great price. The staff are superb, we have visited over 20 times and no matter who is working , they always exceed our expectations. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Food was fantastic, as always. We had the early diner menu, lots of choice and good value for money too. The chicken kebabs never disappoint! Staff very friendly too

Food was lovely & the staff very attentive & friendly. Was very quiet when I attended so probably unfair to comment on the atmosphere, as there was only 3-4 tables occupied. I would definitely try again though.

Friendly and welcoming staff. We decided to have the Meze - wow - so much food great quality meats, lovely flavours all we needed was the sun and sound of the sea to make the Greek experience more authentic. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic value, great food, huge portions & friendly staff. The weekend show was great fun. The maze is unbelievable. Skip lunch before you go. We’ll be going again!

Amazing food and atmosphere. Would defiantly return again.. espechially enjoyed the entertainment but maybe could have the show on a little earlier, half 10 seemed a bit late.

food was not fresh clearly microwaved, not quality greek food, thick black hair found on daughters kabab, no atmosphere, dirty floor. however waitress was friendly

Lovely meal here as usual Kleftico fell off the bone. We shared a platter very good value and as usual could not eat it all. It's a good job our friends have a dog. Lovely waitress very polite and Christos the genial host. Please don't change anything? The Grants

Booked a party night for family, very disappointed, there were no Greek dancers, food was poor. There were only 2 tables with guests booked on, the resultant amy was empty, no atmosphere. Very disappointed

Food was good. Very nice staff. Bit chill inside but probably it was down to coming in straight after opening.Toilets not very clean and needs updating.

A party of 15 went here on Friday for pre-wedding celebrations and all had a great night. The food was great value for money and the entertainment were great at getting everyone on their feet to dance. Definitely would go again! Thanks to all staff for a great night.

No atmosphere here at The staff displayed very little interest in their customers. Food so disappointing, not at all the high standard you would expect from an authentic Greek restaurant. Huge room for improvement all round.

Was brilliant I didn’t no children could go to the W evenings tho so was a bit of a dampener on us going out to get away from ours to have others running around mad! The food was gorgeous! And the entertainment was great! Staff weee brilliant too

We went to Christakis Greek Taverna for my cousins hen do. It was fantastic, lovely food, amazing entertainment and friendly staff! Would recommend to any parties looking for a laugh!

Great meal , staff always a pleasure ! Sardines , calamari , lovely chips and rice . Troudos wine was very nice . Will be back again soon !

Great food & great service. We will definately be going back again especially when they've got entertainment on (belly dancers, etc). Brilliant value for money aswell and good size food portions.

cold meat when complained said they wanted to warm it up. said new chef needs to learn the ropes said wouldn't charge for it but did..

We came as a group of 17 for a hen party. Amazing night, good food, excellent entertainment! Stay until the end! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool!

Good honest Greek food - lots of it and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. What more do you need? They even provided a 'Happy Birthday' cake and song for my son (without asking). Thank you Christakis.

Early diner lovely as always, would have preferred the home made chips that the couple on the table next to us had. Our frozen chips were hard!!
