Food was amazing , incredibly good value for money. staff were quick to notice if we were running low on water although we could have done with more napkins on the table.
Some truly exceptional Indian vegetarian dishes served as a buffet. Every dish very different from the others, and some exquisite flavours. Will go again - well recommended.
We had the set dinner, which was poor in both quality and value. Tired starters and curries, perhaps leftovers from the lunchtime buffet. And no protein ingredients. If you must go here, avoid this rip-off.
As always, excellent selection of food, really good quality and excellent value for money. Popular, as always, for the Sunday buffet. We have been there many times over the years and the quality is always good.
The best Indian cuisine in the universe! Super tasty and great service. Everything is fresh and the place is not overly porsh but cousy. Great lunch.
Very prompt service and good food. The staff were very attentive. Prices were reasonable. We enjoyed our meal and will return here again before to long.
The food was really delicious and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend Chutney's to anyone looking for a cheap and cheerful night out.
Chutneys is one of our favourite places to eat serving delicious Indian vegetarian food with excellent service. Staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. It hits the mark every time.
Excellent value for money. I first visited this place over thirty years ago and in that time it has not changed. If you want a slap up Indian Vegetarian eat all you can buffet you will not not go wrong. The vegetarian dishes are fresh, tasty and imaginative and on a totally different level to those offered in most Indian restaurants. You don't need to be a vegetarian to enjoy this kind of food. If you stick to water it is incredibly good value. For booze it is a BYO arrangement but there's a Cost Cutters opposite if you haven't.
Food was nice (starters were really nice) but I would agree with previous reviews that the staff are a little miserable. The only time that the staff showed any enthusiasm was when the waiter asked if we wanted to add a gratuity to the bill. I wouldn’t rush back.
Thursday evening meal: very crowded, noisy, squeezed in a small table (despite I booked a table in advance). There is not enough space between tables and it made me feel as if I were part of discussion of diners sitting at next table. But foods were very good!
The vegetarian buffet was delicious and the service was fine. It is really good value too. There is a large selection of starters and main dishes and the food is freshly made.Excellent staff.
Popular restaurant, good selection of food. Would liked to have seen dishes replenished quicker, but it was very busy at lunchtime. Will go again in the near future.
Great buffet with a huge range of very tasty dishes - many salads and cold dishes as well as hot food. Great desserts too. Nice ambience and friendly staff. Good value for money.
Lovely food quite tight seating very popular so might be best to book in advance. Shall return when in London again as must try the dosas!
One of our favourite restaurants that keeps us returning again and again. Fantastic value for money, with a wide and varied menug. Great food lotss of choice and good service
Chuntneys is a brilliant Indian vegetarian restaurant, although for some reason it was very cold in the restaurant. Very good value for money, definitely recommend.
Good was very good. Starters for different people were served at different times, not so good. Paneer dosa was amazing. All portions were of a good size. Bring your own alcohol keeps the price down.
Great food and saves you a lot of money to bring your own drinks. Unfortunately the customer service was super poor. We ordered starters first, then mains. When our mains came we asked for starters and the waiter surprisingly asked “Do you still want them?!” Rude, impatient, and didn’t have a table for us even if we booked in advance.
Amazing food at an amazing price! Always a pleasure to eat here and staff were very friendly. Would really recommend, even on a street where the other Indian restaurants are good Chutneys stands out.
Lovely food, great value, nice, welcoming, gentle people. Highly recommend
We had a reunion of old friends. Food was as good as it was 30 years ago when I first went there. Staff were brilliant.
Great food and a fabulous price tag for the buffet! Cannot fault any of it! We have been before and we will definitely go back again!
The food was delicious and satisfying - we had dosas, two different kinds, with a vegetable side dish, and then enjoyed a long chat in a peaceful atmosphere before we had masala chai and coffee to finish. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall good value for money, and not too noisy.
As usual, the £6.-95 buffet lunch was excellent. Good to take a modest quantity of wine at Christmas time without any corkage charges. Always a friendly welcome and it must surely be the best restaurant in Drummond Street.
The food is decent and very cheap. I booked a table for 5 and we arrived and shown to a table for 4, which was disappointing but nevertheless sat at until space became available.
Chutneys is the best place for a delicious vegetarian buffet in Euston and the price is reasonable. Easy to commute from Euston, Euston Square or Warren Street stations.
A group of 9 of us went to Chutneys this weekend. We tried the thali and found that very filling and good value for money.
The food is delicious, authentic and really well prepared Indian. And good prices. The ambiance was a loud chatty Friday night. The waiting staff brought the food quickly after ordering - we were a group of 7, the restaurant was packed, but service was always fast. Our table became very cluttered as they left empties on the table throughout the meal. Don’t take the table on the diagonal from the door. We were not warm enough and got cold blasts every time people arrived and left. I like that they let us linger a couple of hours after we finished our meal, chatting till closing time. I would go again and again and again for the food.
The service was minimal, but the food was tasty enough, and very good value for money - we had the buffet. Some names/descriptions/dietary info next to the dishes would be helpful in future however.
Brilliant. Friday evening was a thoroughly enjoyable night which i booked for our quarterly catch up. Looking forward to taking my husband for a lunch buffet next time round. Well done Chutneys!
Delicious vegetarian food, piping hot; varied and interesting flavours. Quick and efficient service. Excellent value for money. Remember to bring your own bottle! Will go back
Restaurant was packed and the queue to the buffet was too long. It took the restaurant too long to continually stock the buffet. they should be better organised
Perfect night. The staff is incredibly helpful and the food really good. Highly recommended for parties and work gatherings. I would certainly be back! Thanks Chutneys
It's a must visit restaurant. Food was superb. I would recommend it . The service was excellent and buffet prices very reasonable. Lots to choose from.
Lively atmosphere and welcoming Great food and very good service. There’s a wide range of vegan and vegetarian dishes. We particularly enjoyed the okra dish and coconut rice we had.
Easy going. Food tasty and freshly made. Bring your own booze. As a veggie, lovely to be able to eat absolutely anything on the menu
Good value buffet lunch and wide range of vegetarian dishes. Also good range of non-alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. The staff were very helpful at getting one of us who is disabled into the restaurant. Negotiating the 2 or 3 steps outside would be helped by a rail, and the toilets, which were modern and clean, were down a steep flight of stairs.
Wonderful Indian vegetarian food. I can not remember he names of the starters ! However we all agreed that they were delicious. My main course was a Dossa and it was amazing ! The drinks including the Lime juice drink was also brilliant. Including a tip the food came to £16 a head, and it was well worth it !
Met an old friend here for dinner - well located - cosy setting 5 mins walk from Euston station, but noisier later. Poor food - arrived quickly, but completely bland and tasteless - tepid was the word myself and my friend used. No alcohol licence. At least it was cheap. Overall, bad choice.
Quiet, relaxing, service very good to let you get on with your evening. They even allowed us to bring our own alcohol and consume with our meals.
The food was good but nothing special. Price is reasonable and overall good Indian curry house. The ambience is very basic and a lower end cafe. The service is OK.
Nice atmosphere, good welcome, very reasonable, very good grub😊 Good mix of dishes on the buffet, constantly replenished. Flovours not always outstanding but great value tasty well presented veggie food. Recommended by a fussy foodie😉
Enjoyed the set meals - thalis were good size with a variety of options. Oily prep though. South Indian menu looked delicious albeit didnt try.
Very comfortable and pleasant. Perfectly good service. Was hoping for authentic South Indian cuisine and although there are plenty of South Indian-style dishes at a really good price, they were fine rather than really good; very Brit-friendly rather than truly authentic.
Terrible service and food. Very disrespectful to our table which was Indian and just because we knew real Indian food and questioned about it didn't like it! We asked for tamarind sauce which they didn't have and lied to us went outside and brought it from another restaurant. It was a different type of sauce. Rude staff and didn't give us good service at all didn't care. Would never recommend this place
Delicious fresh food in the Sunday buffet beautifully presented. Large range of starters, salads, mains and desserts. Yummy poppadoms and chutneys too. Good dessert buffet but gulab jamuns could be better - i prefer them hot. Kheer (rice pudding) was perfect - rich and creamy. Good service. I think they were surprised we left a generous tip.
Very good southern Indian veggie food. Loved the masala dosa. Take your own alcohol. Better not to buy it from the off licence opposite. Really enjoyed the evening, service good.
Chutney's Euston Food quality is always excellent- vegetarian and vegan and never any eggs in anything. You can bring your own bottle as they don't sell. Try the Mushroom Bhaji!! Yumm!
Book before going as it does get crowded. It is very easy to eat too much as there were 28 dishes! So just go easy when loading your plate. Great to sample different dishes.
