Food was amazing , incredibly good value for money. staff were quick to notice if we were running low on water although we could have done with more napkins on the table.

Some truly exceptional Indian vegetarian dishes served as a buffet. Every dish very different from the others, and some exquisite flavours. Will go again - well recommended.

We had the set dinner, which was poor in both quality and value. Tired starters and curries, perhaps leftovers from the lunchtime buffet. And no protein ingredients. If you must go here, avoid this rip-off.

As always, excellent selection of food, really good quality and excellent value for money. Popular, as always, for the Sunday buffet. We have been there many times over the years and the quality is always good.

The best Indian cuisine in the universe! Super tasty and great service. Everything is fresh and the place is not overly porsh but cousy. Great lunch.

Chutneys is one of our favourite places to eat serving delicious Indian vegetarian food with excellent service. Staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. It hits the mark every time.

Excellent value for money. I first visited this place over thirty years ago and in that time it has not changed. If you want a slap up Indian Vegetarian eat all you can buffet you will not not go wrong. The vegetarian dishes are fresh, tasty and imaginative and on a totally different level to those offered in most Indian restaurants. You don't need to be a vegetarian to enjoy this kind of food. If you stick to water it is incredibly good value. For booze it is a BYO arrangement but there's a Cost Cutters opposite if you haven't.

Food was nice (starters were really nice) but I would agree with previous reviews that the staff are a little miserable. The only time that the staff showed any enthusiasm was when the waiter asked if we wanted to add a gratuity to the bill. I wouldn’t rush back.

Thursday evening meal: very crowded, noisy, squeezed in a small table (despite I booked a table in advance). There is not enough space between tables and it made me feel as if I were part of discussion of diners sitting at next table. But foods were very good!

Popular restaurant, good selection of food. Would liked to have seen dishes replenished quicker, but it was very busy at lunchtime. Will go again in the near future.

Good was very good. Starters for different people were served at different times, not so good. Paneer dosa was amazing. All portions were of a good size. Bring your own alcohol keeps the price down.

Great food and saves you a lot of money to bring your own drinks. Unfortunately the customer service was super poor. We ordered starters first, then mains. When our mains came we asked for starters and the waiter surprisingly asked “Do you still want them?!” Rude, impatient, and didn’t have a table for us even if we booked in advance.

The food was delicious and satisfying - we had dosas, two different kinds, with a vegetable side dish, and then enjoyed a long chat in a peaceful atmosphere before we had masala chai and coffee to finish. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall good value for money, and not too noisy.

As usual, the £6.-95 buffet lunch was excellent. Good to take a modest quantity of wine at Christmas time without any corkage charges. Always a friendly welcome and it must surely be the best restaurant in Drummond Street.

Chutneys is the best place for a delicious vegetarian buffet in Euston and the price is reasonable. Easy to commute from Euston, Euston Square or Warren Street stations.

The food is delicious, authentic and really well prepared Indian. And good prices. The ambiance was a loud chatty Friday night. The waiting staff brought the food quickly after ordering - we were a group of 7, the restaurant was packed, but service was always fast. Our table became very cluttered as they left empties on the table throughout the meal. Don’t take the table on the diagonal from the door. We were not warm enough and got cold blasts every time people arrived and left. I like that they let us linger a couple of hours after we finished our meal, chatting till closing time. I would go again and again and again for the food.

The service was minimal, but the food was tasty enough, and very good value for money - we had the buffet. Some names/descriptions/dietary info next to the dishes would be helpful in future however.

Good value buffet lunch and wide range of vegetarian dishes. Also good range of non-alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. The staff were very helpful at getting one of us who is disabled into the restaurant. Negotiating the 2 or 3 steps outside would be helped by a rail, and the toilets, which were modern and clean, were down a steep flight of stairs.

Wonderful Indian vegetarian food. I can not remember he names of the starters ! However we all agreed that they were delicious. My main course was a Dossa and it was amazing ! The drinks including the Lime juice drink was also brilliant. Including a tip the food came to £16 a head, and it was well worth it !

Met an old friend here for dinner - well located - cosy setting 5 mins walk from Euston station, but noisier later. Poor food - arrived quickly, but completely bland and tasteless - tepid was the word myself and my friend used. No alcohol licence. At least it was cheap. Overall, bad choice.

Very comfortable and pleasant. Perfectly good service. Was hoping for authentic South Indian cuisine and although there are plenty of South Indian-style dishes at a really good price, they were fine rather than really good; very Brit-friendly rather than truly authentic.

Terrible service and food. Very disrespectful to our table which was Indian and just because we knew real Indian food and questioned about it didn't like it! We asked for tamarind sauce which they didn't have and lied to us went outside and brought it from another restaurant. It was a different type of sauce. Rude staff and didn't give us good service at all didn't care. Would never recommend this place

Delicious fresh food in the Sunday buffet beautifully presented. Large range of starters, salads, mains and desserts. Yummy poppadoms and chutneys too. Good dessert buffet but gulab jamuns could be better - i prefer them hot. Kheer (rice pudding) was perfect - rich and creamy. Good service. I think they were surprised we left a generous tip.
