We loved the food, it was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was only one negative thing - while we were sitting waiting for our taxi, a few homeless people came in and sat next to us, slouched around, looked like they were falling asleep. I have nothing against homeless people and would help them any way I could, the restaurant were may be giving them some food which I hold my hat off too. It just made me feel a bit uneasy.

We had a warm and friendly welcome. We had olives and bread placed onto our table, which we thought were a freebie, but no, we were charged, as it was added to our bill. Would not of ordered these, so I think they should ask if you want these items or not. Also we ordered a bottle of wine from the list which said £11-95 but at the end of our meal, the bill had be altered to £12-95???? The starters were fab, but our main course of Pasta Salmon in a Cream sauce was bland with far to much cream. We were given an Amaretto shot for free which was very nice, even though a cheap version. The Manager and staff are lovely, but we were a little disappointed with this visit. We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions, but feel very let down this time.

I had chicken cream and it was lovely my partner picked a different chicken dish and it was quite dry but overall was ok. We had a groupon don't think I would go if I was paying full price. Staff were lovely.

Formerly Abari restaurant, the place is still the same. Good Italian/English food priced accordingly, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, no bias with vouchers and flexible on choice if you pay the difference.

Friendly attentive staff. Food was quite nice but if you order a chicken/fish dish you have to then buy your sides extra as they come by itself. Bit odd I thought.

Nice little Italian Restaurant which seems to change ts name from time to time but still has the same people serving. Food very good value and very tasty. Not too expensive fro wine. Would recommend for a cheap night out.

Last time I reviewed Ciao Italia I said we'd be back - and so it came to pass. Decor and furnishings are plain and simple; the emphasis here is on good service and quality food priced a little more reasonably than most restaurants. Thoroughly recommended. Jes.

We arrived and were greeted warmly and taken to a window seat as it was 5pm and the only other customers were a rather large family, that apologised for the children being noisy , but in fact were very well behaved. The meal was nice, the young waiter shy and the Manager accommodating .Overall a good experience and one that will be repeated.Thank you ciao Italia

Our first time at Ciao Italia was last Saturday, and what a pleasant experience. The staff are polite and efficient, the food excellent and the decor homely - certainly no delusions of grandeur here! I'm sure we'll be back. Jes.
