The food is delicious. Favourites are the squid, drunken prawns in keeping with the patron eating them and the pork with subtle kimchi salad. All divine! Senior Buddah is its name in its gastronomical sense. I also highly recommend the red wine Porto 6. Liquid velvet in a glass. A great recommendation by SB staff. A resounding well done. Keeps you going back for more, booking via quando was excellent. Just book and turn up to delightful food and drink experience! Cheers!

Small but with a strong signature . The food is inspiring and delicious. It's a very inclusive experience with opinions and guidance on choices for both the food and wine

Love this place, really friendly, great wine and coffee. Food good too and 241 on Tuesdays hitch was a nice surprise as it's not the cheapest place.

Food was lovely, specially impressed by the avocado and tequila ice cream, but everything was good. Food is served a dish at a time rather than everything at once which makes for a longer more relaxed meal. The kitchen is open plan so you can see everything being made. By 7.30 this small restaurant was full and the atmosphere vibrant. Would definitely return.

Fantastic place! Limited to a small number of guests, so you get great service and fantastic food served very fresh and very quickly, but not hurried to leave your seats to allow others. The Porta 6 red wine is a definite hit too

Nice relaxed vibe. Food had some interesting combinations (my boyfriend less keen on some than me!), and wine was lovely. Very good value as on Tuesdays and Wednesdays they are doing 241 tapas at the moment!

We had worked our way through an amazing selection of spanish/asian fusion tapas with a bottle of portugeuse red wine. It's difficult to select our favourite dish from the evening, but on the Special menu "Monkfish on black rice" was a treat. I can't wait for their "fish Thursday's" on the last Thursday of each month! I would definitely return to this restaurant soon.

Lovely food, friendly staff, food portions generous for the modest price tag attached. I sat at the bar and chatted to the chef, looked like the best seats in the house to me. Will be back! Mitch

Dont be put off by the fusion element...on the whole it totally works. Great little local place with cool vibe, Spanish service and dance music playing - feels like you're transported to another country entirely. Six plates between two filled is up. Currently 2 for 1 on all tapas Tuesday and Wednesday - total bargain.

The food is cooked in an open kitchen,so if your sitting at the bar you can watch your meal being prepared. An informal yet very efficient atmosphere in this cosy restaurant. Best food I have had in Brighton at reasonable prices with Interesting layered flavours and textures . A little gem.

My third visit in as many weeks! Just about to book for Fish Thursday; third Thursday in the month (I think....) Can't wait. I love this restaurant. It's local, friendly authentic and the food is deliciously reliable - not always so with restaurants in Brighton unfortunately so very welcome. I booked with Quandoo which was easy except that I missed the choice of Time as it's in very small print - so I had to cancel the first go as you can't amend it, and rebook! Sorted.

Another fabulous meal at señor buddha. This time we had the prawns, steak and tortilla, all were delicious. Super sad that I forgot to order the cauliflower and pineapple though 😂

Once again a great evening at Senor Buddha's even if they had lost our booking which we made through Quandoo. Staff seemed more stressed than usual and had run out of some of our favourite dishes. That said what we did have was as good as ever. Would be great if they offered a selection of dessert wines or ports!

Lovely food, very interesting 'fusion' menu, friendly cheerful staff. Quite noisy environment, lots of fun if you like a bit of a buzz, but not exactly relaxing. Despite being really busy on a Saturday night with every seat filled, the food arrived in good time and was all sizzling fresh. Good value for money. Recommended.

This was a first time visit for us on a friend's recommendation. It is a small intimate restaurant. The atmosphere was lively and busy, possibly a bit noisy for our group of over 50s. The food was delicious. I only had the vegetarian tapas, but my companions loved the fish and sea food dishes. We felt transported to Spain and we felt that I was on holiday so it was quite a shock to leave the restaurant and find ourselves in Preston Circus. We will defintely go back.

Great little restaurant, the food was delicious and we had some lovely wine. we had booked a table for two, when we arrived the waitress suggested we sat at the bar where you can see the kitchen and watch your food being cooked, we thought this was a great idea until we found ourselves surrounded by a group of people waiting for a table and it felt very clostraphobic and quite intrusive on our meal. We were asked twice to move up along the bar so they could fit more customers in so half way through eating we had to up and move and again while eating our dessert. The chef was friendly and chatty, I couldn't fault his food and I would definitely like to go back for what we hope to be a better experience. With it being a small space I don't think it works letting waiting customers stand around where others are trying to enjoy their meal. I also felt they could do with one more person front of house as the one waitress was so busy and she was in and out of the kitchen helping aswell, it seemed to much work for one individual to maintain a good level of customer service.
