Not far from Chiswick Common and Turnham Green underground station, London’s Citrus & Spice offers a real touch of the Middle East. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, this is a restaurant and cafe on Chiswick High Road with plenty of contemporary style. Very popular are the hot and cold meze selections as well as the mains from the pan. The prawns are one of many highlights for us, coated in zaatar, pomegranate molasses, roasted onions, puy lentils and a good kick of chilli – just wonderful. That said, everything is at Citrus & Spice, hence it’s a wildly popular place to eat among those in Chiswick who know what’s up.
