Had a lovely Sunday lunch for our anniversary, the Yorkshire pudding was amazing

Very good menu to choose from. Staff are very welcoming the music on there made the atmosphere better can’t fault anything will be back soon

I was served by Michael I think his name was great guy food was outstanding

Mix up with the red wine initially & young girl bartender was a bit surly! Asked for Malbec & got Shiraz 🤷🏼‍♀️ Private party downstairs which we were not aware of so took a glass of Prosecco on entering & was basically told off by a member of staff as that was only for the “private” party! Seriously!! It was Mother’s Day ! No desert came either , only saving Grace was the fantastic guy upstairs who was terrific, excellent singer, really doubt I will be going back here, shambolic service, grumpy staff & food a bit meh! Was great when first opened but standards are really slipping, sorry to say all that as I know it’s family owned but come on guys, you have competition in the village now, get back to being the best!!

I know it's a bar as well as restaurant, but the music was a bit high could hardly here yourself speak. The food was nice but my steak and sauce was look warm.

Booked for a leisurely pre Christmas dinner but for some odd reason they only offered the £25 per head 2 course menu & not their normal menu, which I was not advised of when I booked 2 weeks previously , very disappointed so we only stayed for one drink & ate at another nearby restaurant. Staff should say if normal menu not available , very strange! 🤷🏼‍♀️. Put me off going back if totally honest.

Went with a friend for our first Christmas lunch, extremely tasty food & very helpful & friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. My 3 rd visit here & definitely going back, well done once again!

Service was very slow food wise, waited nearly an hour after initial food order to getting our meals but as usual the food was delicious & the atmosphere brilliant! Staff were friendly & very accommodating , well done!

Great to be able to go to a local place for such nice food. The ribeye steak was delicious. Look forward to going again when the country opens up more and it's all a bit more casual.
