Great spanish food with a bit of fusion. They have great selection of gin and tonics and extensive wine list. All in a great atmosphere and great service

Tasty food and the best iberico pork presso I have ever had. Gin and tonic menu is great. Good wine selection. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and honest. I will be returning.

The chefs make life very difficult for the waitresses. When we asked for more Alioli, we were told 'no, the kitchen won't allow it'. No interest in customer service, clearly!

Excellent service, awesome food ands a great ambiance; deserves to do very well.

Lovely atmosphere, great gin selection- try the octopus and neck of lamb! as well as the roasted aubergine! yum service was informative but not pushy. would recommend, but always one to try something new instead off a repeat customer unless completely blown away or amazing value.

If they have no availability ask them if you can sit at the bar. Reservation is just for the tables it seems. I had to book a late table and when i walked in there was at least 20 seats empty on bar stools around the windows and kitchen counter. Silly really as they are losing money by not making this clear.

Excellent selection and quality of food and really helpful staff

Really excellent food - prepared to a high standard of taste and presentation. A varied menu which catered for vegetarians, meat and fish eaters. The churros con chocolate should really be allowed.

The food was very average, some even disappointing (the shrimps). Our Spanish friend was less than impressed with this place as well. The wine selection wasn't great and the last few glasses never arrived - but of course showed on the bill. The waitress was very pushy and not friendly. We wouldn't return.

The restaurant looked unpromising from the outside (a nondescript modern office-type building) but the layout inside works well - all very roomy and clean. The staff were welcoming, friendly and more than happy to attempt to explain/translate the numerous baffling Spanish dishes on the menu! All the plates the two of us tried - a selection of several starters and three 'main' dishes - were spot on and very tasty: there were some interesting flavour combinations. Probably the standout dish was the hake on a puree of almond and roasted garlic, but as I said, everything was excellent. We will certainly return.....

Delicious food!! I had the tuna tartare and the iberico ham with bread for starters. Then we had the sweet potato bravas and pork. Overall Service was great also.. I recommend getting the desserts too!

We loved the place - a friendly welcome when we arrived, great service throughout and fantastic food. The octopus in particular was outstanding. Great wine list as well, we had a really lovely albarino. We'll definitely be back.

Have been to many Tapas restaurants/bars both in the UK and Spain and Copita del Mercado is up there with the best of them. Food superb, service could not be faulted and great atmosphere. I know the restaurant has not been open long but hope they continue the high standards of cuisine and service. Bravo !!!!

The restaurant is cool, the seating is comfortable, the food is delicious, the customer service is excellence, I just wish the portion could be bigger, hard to fill up.

Met a friend here for a late Sunday lunch during this restaurant's soft opening. The food was delicious, the gin selection impressive, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. A food highlight was the squash with duck egg - lots of subtle herbs which paired well with the flavour of the squash and truffle oil. The gin menu was unexpected but allowed us to start with pre-lunch gin and tonics served with fresh herbs over ice.

Outstanding service, from walking in through the front for on a freezing cold Friday night through to leaving with a vow to return. The food was outstanding, everything we ate. Give it some time for word to get around and when this place is full and buzzing it will be amazing.

Great venue , overly priced and the service was too cumbersome , I am sure it's only opening jitters . Given wrong menu and portions on the small side , but delicious no the less , the sweet potato and rack of lamb are highly recommended , just left wanting more ......

Beautiful Cava and lovely food, with a particularly good selection of vegetarian options. The aubergine with almonds was delightful. The service was also pleasant yet unobtrusive.

Food was really good and atmosphere was amazing but it is a little bit expensive for tapas.

My assistant and I went for lunch. Arrived early before the crowd and thus got to experience engaged and attentive service. Tapas were good, but not exceptional. Galloway Beef special was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, while the Sweet potato appetizer was very tasty. The Branzino was good but slightly overcooked, while the tuna tartar wasn't seasoned enough and the various flavours didn't add anything to the overall dish. Overall meal was enjoyable, and may give it another try as the specials change regularly but will give it another couple of months to firm everything up.

Having seen the place come together over the past few weeks, my boyfriend and I were much looking forward to coming here. The service was excellent and there was an interesting choice of food, which made deciding what to have especially difficult - we wanted to try it all! Our waiter was happy to help us and explain some of the dishes we were not familiar with. The food was wonderful and we will definitely be back again.

Delicious food. We were a group of 7 and ordered a multitude of plates. We ordered about 15 dishes thinking we would order more of the favourites but were surprisingly satisfied. The favourites for me were the hake (buttery soft with a crispy skin), octopus (succulent) and lamb (juicy) dishes. The only negative is that the waitress did not give us any warning that we needed to leave by a certain time for the next table and when we came to order dessert she was rude and tried to rush us off - this seems to be quite normal these days in restaurants which is disappointing.

Fantastic atmosphere, great food and a friendly service. Look forward to returning soon and trying more of the menu.

the service was wonderful and it was only exceeded by the great food. Really really enjoyed it. I really like the fact that there is a working market out the front, which adds some buzz on the weekend. highly recommend the potato and truffle, smoked tongue and aubergine.

Delicious tapas ! My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. The food is excellent and service was great all night. I definitely go again.

I took my boyfriend here last night for his birthday treat. Having visited the sister restaurant in Soho I had high hopes for here.... it didn't disappoint. It's bigger in every way: space, portions, wine and sherry list and delightfully - GIN! Nice staff. They quietly know they're onto something good. Keep up the good work!

Excellent food and wine. Interesting combinations of ingredients and flavours eg. lovely pink lamb neck fillet with middle eastern style seasoning. Nice attentive but not overbearing service.

Food is quite average. The hake we had was seriously overcooked. The service is very good. I think they have just opened 1 week ago. Hope they improve the quality of the food

The food was great and the service attentive! The bread was very fresh and the sweet potato dish was delicious. Good wine list and a very nice décor.

Very quiet so we had the place all to ourselves, so we had very attentive waiters who were really helpful explaining the menu and suggesting dishes. Attentive without being intrusive. The dishes all came out promptly and we served in different batches to ensure they were all hot which worked well. A fun way to spend lunch.

Great food, Mussels are not usually my favourite but these were outstanding, truffle mash and confit egg yolk also a must. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, drinks a bit pricey but definitely worth a visit.

Good quality food and a very nice atmosphere, not too crowded or loud.

We had a lovely evening, the service was attentive and our waiter was knowledgeable and informative. I would definitely recommend the range and quality of dishes, and we look forward to returning in the new year.

Amazing service, great atmosphere, delicious wine and incredible food! The staff were great at talking us through the menu to make sure we picked the dishes best suited to our taste and they were spot on!

Lovely new tapas restaurant in East London. We liked the atmosphere and style of the place, but the star is definitely the food. Between 5 of us we tried a bit of everything on the menu and couldn't fault any of it. Not sure which dish to recommend, as they were all amazing! We'll come back for sure
