More about the restaurant: Cosmo's
The flavour of flame-grilled food is something quite unique. We love it, and so do many in central Beverley, thanks largely to Cosmo’s. This cool restaurant proudly brings the taste of flame-grilled to this part of Yorkshire by way of everything from juicy burgers right through to creamy, seafood-packed risottos. Cosmo’s is also a fine place for a drink, too, owing to the friendly, well-stocked bar and relaxing outdoor space, and you’ll find it at Wednesday Market. Reserve a table now then look out for the cool black and orange exterior. Very good stuff.

Cosmo’s is a treat whether you’re visiting for your morning coffee, a light bite for lunch or a hearty evening fill. Lunch is served from 11am-4pm and the menu, although straightforward, packs big flavour. Get any main course for £6.99 – they range from meatball linguine to flaming chicken breast or a halloumi wrap – then add a starter or a dessert for £2.99 a pop. The folk of Beverley are generally big fans of this lunchtime offering because it’s quite obviously great value, it’s reliable and, most importantly, it’s damn tasty, but the regular menu is of course available, too.
Speaking of which, the main menu takes in quality as well as quantity and, as we say, provides Beverley with proper flame-grilled flavour. Here at Wednesday Market you’ll find options for any day of the week and the 24-hour marinated flamin’ tasty chicken is always a win. Meanwhile, the Mediterranean mixed grill is a serious filler, as is the pork belly served with a red wine, apple and sage jus. For more of a nibble, try a pitta, a wrap or a burger, or for a more Italian-style dine, you can’t go wrong with Cosmo’s pastas and risottos, the penne filetto with sirloin steak being our pick of the bunch.
