As usual with Cote, the food was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about at all. It's our 'go to' restaurant.

Lovely food as always, only had a simple main course because of limited time but served up very quickly, which suited us fine, and was cooked perfectly. Only minor grumble is that, like some other restaurants of similar roof design, the noise levels when its busy can create a slightly irritating crescendo around the restaurant. Just worth mentioning!

Three choices of menus. Food excellent never had a meal that I haven't enjoyed. Very friendly staff who can't do enough for you. A friend of ours has a lot of difficulty walking and the staff couldn't be more helpful. This is one of our favourite restaurants and we use it a lot. Well done.

Excellent food . Great service. Complimentary aperitifsquandoo were added to our bill by mistake but rectified when pointed out. Acoustics always bad here. Couldn't hold a conversation as 2 extremely noisy groups nearby. No answer to that problem apart from requesting a table at front of restaurant. Wouldn't stop us returging as we love the food and staff.

Excellent food and service as usual. The Baked Crotin is a must have as a starter. The 2 menus give you a wide choice with the set menu being great value for money.

A little gem in Chislehurst! Atmosphere and food great. Warm and friendly service. Spacious seating arrangements which gives you a bit more privacy than other restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

My mother is 85 yrs old! She's eaten in many a restaurant in her days. As one of 4 albeit, getting on, children, I take her out one Sunday every month. Usually to Cote. We have had a wonderful day today. My son took me for mother’s day and we had a wonderful time. Friendly staff. They coped well for a very very busy time. Good service and excellent food. Made the day even more special. Even though it was busy, it didn’t seem overcrowded as the tables are well spaced and a really good atmosphere. A little noisy but it added to the atmosphere. We will be going back again soon.

As usual a wonderful evening out, celebrating my birthday with an 'on-the-house' Kir Royale for me and my friend. There's such a great selection of food. I had a slight problem with my meal, as the food wasn't piping hot, but when I mentioned it to the staff they resolved the issue really quickly, and all was well.

Love it here. Great evening and dinner at Cote as always.

We had a very enjoyable lunch but not as good as our last visit. We were sat down before 1 pm and disappointed to find the fillet of pork dish only 2 portions left, all 6 of us wanted it I had it on the previous visit and raved about it.

This is always a great restaurant to visit, the food is always good and there is a varied selection. Service is attentive and prompt the general ambience is both smart and relaxing.

The service was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly My son only wanted certain items from the full English breakfast and they were happy to oblige and leave out certain items. A very pleasant experience.

We had a lovely late lunch of roasted Breston chicken accompanied with garlic potatoes and creamed spinach with the finale of apple tarte tatin and vanilla ice cream. My wife had baked salmon again with garlic potatoes and her finale was of Citron tart. A very pleasant birthday treat for my wife. Our service was polite welcoming and unintrusive. A very pleasurable visit.

Staff were busy. Apparently lots of waiting staff had not arrived for their shift due to concerns over Coronavirus (our waiter said). Once we were seated we waited for approx 20mins before our waited appeared, greeted us hurriedly and said he would be back. He recognised we were a bit dissatisfied and over compensated by having our aperitifs and starters brought to the table, at the same time. He was distracted and we felt as though we were a bit of any inconvenience. On replacing our cutlery after our starters he didn’t even put them in our place settings, they were ‘plonked’ on the table quite randomly. Ketchup was similarly placed without even glancing in our direction. We sat down at 7.14 and were asking for the bill at 8.05pm ( which included our 20min initial wait). I had to ask for the free aperitif to be applied to our bill, despite having received notification of it on my phone. There were plenty of tables but we were offered a table in the walkway or one beside the servers’ station (condiments etc), which was underneath an AC vent. Haven’t been to Cotes for quite a while and was really looking forward to it. Very disappointed. Food was mediocre- the veal was tasteless. Didn’t order dessert and didn’t leave a tip (I asked to leave a smaller tip than had been automatically applied but was told this was not possible. It had to be 12.5% or nothing, so left nothing, which didn’t sit well with me). Ordered from the a la carte.

Just ok & not very good value for money. Noisy. Swordfish was overcooked. & not very interesting. Wine list too expensive for what is on offer. Service however was very good.

Please tell people with children to sit at their tables. One man was walking a toddler around the restaurant constantly, the child touching everything. Not a good idea at the best of times, let alone in a pandemic!
