Great food and great service! Had dinner here for my birthday since they are doing the ‘eat out to help out’ scheme. I have never been to a French restaurant before but this restaurant has exceed my expectations. Would come back again.

It was so good to be back at Cote and our visit did not disappoint. Same friendly welcome and buzzy atmosphere... like you'd never been away. Staff were confident and assured with Covid regulations which were in no way intrusive to enjoying our meal. Food as excellent as ever. Well done to the whole team - it can't be easy but you all did a great job !!

We enjoyed being back! I was a little disappointed with my tuna nicoise not as good as before and tuna a tad overcooked.

staff friendly and food good. The dining tables felt a little close together considering current covid guidelines so felt a little concerned about proximity to other customers - but staff were all in masks and overall it was a positive experience.

Excellent services and wonderful with accommodating us with our child with additional needs- a lovely quiet corner table.

it was good to be back having a meal in a restaurant again

Although our server was exceptional there were lots of unavailable items 4 of which were our first choices and became unavailable after we had sat down. The chicken we received was pink throughout and although we were assured this was fine we were unable to eat it due to personal concerns. Management did deal with this very well and assured we were looked after.

Always liked the food in Côte. Although part of a chain, it never feels like that in the Exeter Restaurant. The whole team were welcoming and the food was really tasty and well presented. My husband and I went as part of the Eat Out To Help Out scheme on a Tuesday evening so even better value. Will definitely return again.

Staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble when we both were being slight awkward in wanting to change things!! Food was excellent and service was top notch. Will definitely go again. We are used to frequenting Cote in Oxford, however we have now moved to Dartmouth and the Exeter restaurant is now our closest. Sorry Cote, we will be back!!

My friend and I enjoyed our first catch up since lockdown with you and thoroughly enjoyed every second! The staff were super friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and everything was well spaced out within the restaurant.

Welcome back Cotes we missed you. We had a wonderful meal this evening with all Covid 19 rules and regulations in place and we felt very safe. As normal the food was superb with excellent options available. We can’t praise the pork belly enough. The staff were attentive, friendly and following the new guidelines well. I don’t think I’ve seen tables so well cleaned in any other establishment. It’s so good to have you back and can’t wait to visit again.

I enjoyed my main( steak) but my husband did not enjoy his bream. It was bland and could have done with sauce or flavouring of some sort.

Very easy to book online. Excellent table with superb view of the Cathedral. Attentive staff and prompt service. Superb food. Definitely the highlight of our weekend.

Very noisy today.. we couldn’t hear each other because of a large noisy table behind us..spoilt the meal today . Service was slower because of the large table too.Will ask for downstairs next month.

We had breakfast at Exeter Cote overlooking the Cathedral Green on a beautiful morning, the service, food, atmosphere and value for money was as usual top notch.

We had the fish parmentier which we have had before but this time were disappointed. It was not as piping hot as usual and had too many prawns which were a little hard. If it had been our first visit to Cote, we wouldnt have come back but as this was the first time we were disappointed, we probably will return but wont have that dish again.

Lovely food, excellent service by friendly staff, and a really good vibe any time we have visited. Can see why this restaurant is so busy. They also have a good selection of Aperitifs and wines.
