Went for lunch at Cote in Guildford yesterday. It was fabulous!! French onion soup as always was just lovely. Followed by the October special of Chateau Briande just superb!!

Very caring staff and very attentive. Started meal with a super FIG/DUBINNET cocktail. Belly pork delicious and Tuna salad nicoise excellent as usual. We will be back...tempt us with another cocktail.

A very warm welcome immediately upon arrival. I had to ask to scan the track and trace but I did see that everybody completed it. Very good and attentive service. Very good food which was served quickly. Atmosphere was a bit flat but not the restaurant's fault due to distancing. Unfortunately, we had to leave at 9.45 but again, not their fault. I will return.

Cote never disappoints! It’s the one chain that’s consistently brilliant. The food is absolutely divine and the staff are so helpful and polite and always have a smile on their faces. Please just keep doing what you do Cote!!!

Had a lovely lunch out with friends however there didn’t seem to be any where to log in for NHS Track and Trace. A very different experience from other places I’ve eaten recently and I didn’t feel as safe in Cote, Guildford because if this.

By far the best restaurant we have eaten in since the new covid measures have been put in place. The service and food quality were fantastic and not hampered because of the measures. Our server (and other staff around us) were professional and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate about visiting the Guildford branch again. Thank you for an enjoyable and tasty brunch.

Well managed in difficult circumstances given the pandemic. Food was excellent for all four of us and service was top notch.

we had to wait for our pre booked table with several others in a queue. then the much anticipated cocktail that had been advertised, and we were looking forward to, was not available! dear oh dear. gin spritz instead offered but not quite the same. dry over cooked steak and a poor crepe dessert was had by me. my partners food was fine. the restaurant was too packed with people. the best bit was our waitress

Brilliant . Atmosphere was great and service could not be faulted!

The Cote Brasserie, despite the covid 19 situation, was busy and buzzing. The atmosphere in the Brasserie packed with people enjoying their experience, was delightful. Ambience, Service and food surpassed their normal high standard, a truly enjoyable visit.

Food was excellent and the staff were all very friendly, great atmosphere too.

Really glad to see the monthly specials back on. One of our favourites Chateaubriand on for October. Had it today wonderful!!! Really pleased to see the restaurant buzzing, great atmosphere and brilliant service as always.

I think the spacing at the back makes for a nicer experience

It’s very strange times at the moment and eating out isn’t the same as it used to be but Cote are doing everything they can to make sure you have a lovely experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is a problem and the food is always amazing...... the sea bass was outstanding!!!!

We came in for a quick lunch. Faultless. Would recommend highly.

We had a lovely family meal with 2 of our 4 children tonight but it was marred at the end by a miserable old woman who walked across the room to tell us we had naughty children. They sat quietly drawing before the meal and then ate at the table until we had finished and we paid the bill! I told this miserable old cow in no uncertain terms to mind her own business & I informed the waiter on leaving about our conversation. I work 6-7 days a week in a local shop so I appreciate how hard trade is at the moment hence I didn't make a scene.. I wish all the staff at Cote Guildford all the very best wishes for having to endure rude snobs like this bigoted old lady on a daily basis!

Good distancing measures in place. The staff remain friendly and professional and the food was very good.

Lovely evening with good food and attentive waiter.Nice gesture of Cote to give us complimentary Kir royale drinks to celebrate our twins 24th birthday. One suggestion on the menu could you mark allergies eg milk /nuts etc,vegetarian/vegan which would be helpful.

Food was delicious as always but restaurant was too crowded and loud. My table was right next to another but with a curtain separating them - if I leaned back I was right next to the man on the other table. Felt like we were rushed through as well and they were quite keen to move us along, not sure I'd go back.

The food was lovely, the waiting staff were friendly and efficient . The restaurant was very clean and it's location was very nice.

It was my first time out in Guildford since lockdown. I was very impressed with the service and professionalism. We arrived early, but a table was ready. Our food was lush. It is always good, but today it was a bit above that. Thank you xxx
