Disappointing. Not up to your usual standard. Starters arrived and within the next couple of minutes our main courses were served. We had only had one bite of our starter! Also the garlic bread was so dry - one of the worst garlic breads I have tasted.

The service from the get go was great! The girl who took our orders was really nice and checked on us a few times. As we finished our meal I think her shift ended so we were left with other staff to deal with our bill, it took a little longer than expected to get that. It was also annoyed as we wanted to tip our original waitress :(

Lovely staff. Excellent food. My wife and I with our two kids had a lovely meal. Our waitress was especially nice and made a really good food and wine pairing recommendation. This is the most consistently good restaurant in Guildford.

The food was lovely but unfortunately the staff were having some sort of argument while we were eating which wasn’t great. We still enjoyed the food but it staff did slightly ruin the evening.

Lovely staff, but unfortunately food not great! I had tomatoes Breton for starter, the bread was burnt and couldn’t cut it. My husbands poulet grill was completely overcooked, tough and gratin potatoes like mash, my salmon was also overcooked too, this may have been been because the staff took quite along time to clear our starters. We use Chichester cote regularly and always love it. But today was disappointing.

Côte have reopened and are doing what they have always done but in a Covid safe way. It’s fab to have a ‘normal’ dinning out experience again. We all enjoyed our food, service was great and all at a good value price. We will be back again soon!

It was my first visit back to Cote, since Lock Down. The staff were excellent, the food delicious and the ambience enjoyable. Nothing had changed, still one of the best restaurants, if not the best in Guildford.

We very much enjoyed our dinner and the staff were excellent, but the tables are as close together as ever. Do they really comply with social distancing guidelines? My wife is not keen to return until she is further from her fellow diners. Côte is just as noisy as ever, but it’s good to see you back in business.

It is great to have you open again in Guildford. As soon as we saw the doors open we booked. Today the food was very enjoyable, as always, and the staff keen and interested to ensure we had a good experience. The extra space between tables made for a calmer time even though the restaurant was busy. 'Covid' Hygiene was taken seriously AND the government bonus was a welcome extra. We look forward to the next visit

Greeted at the entrance and my party were shown to a table away from the main area as I had requested. Service from Mariusz was efficient, friendly and professional. Food was good and the evening a great success.
