Usual good food and very good service, still a pity that it is very noisy. Could some softer material be put on the end wall above the booths.

We had a great time on our first , but not last , visit tour Cote Harpenden. Really liked the decor and the food but it was the staff who made the difference. Very attentive and kind.

Cote in Harpenden offer a great brasserie menu and really nice service... they are always trying to please ... I had a meal in a very expensive restaurant near to Lemsford at the weekend and experienced the opposite approach. Well done the Cote team.

We all enjoyed our meals I had the sea bass I found the to be very dry otherwise, it was very enjoyable.

Excellent food - really enjoyed my prawn starter, fillet steak and ratatouille side. And the wine was lovely too. However, the tables are far too close together. The waiting staff were struggling to serve our table without disturbing the one next to us, and it's hard to have a conversation with other people so close.

Fantastic range of dishes especially for Coeliacs and kids. Excellent food quality, restaurant decor and value for money. Great service too. What's not to like? Restaurant chains don't get any better than Cote!

Disappointed with my birthday visit there .. was kept waiting so long for pudding the manager gave us coffee complimentary. Have been before and had a wonderful experience so extremely disappointed .

Great night out . Food very good and hot to the table, Maitre d' on the ball and welcoming . Sides a little expensive and the service charge at 12.5% is on the bill before you pay. Good for a special occasion .

Food was very good and well presented. Waiting staff were of mixed caliber, overall I would go back as it is a lovely venue.

Food and service good, but our table, in the centre of three rows, was by a large, noisy group which made conversation difficult. Would book again but would insist on a table by a wall.

Mothers Day brunch and Dads Birthday all in one! They went above and beyond as always, confetti on the table and complimentary mimosa's. Food is always fantastic and such a reasonable price. I need to try Cote for dinner next time! I only have one critique, my dads breakfast had hard yolks (I know this is pedantic), he was awfully envious of my mums runny yolks.

The two and three-course set menu options are very well priced and offer an excellent selection to suit all tastes and checking table availability couldn't be easier.

Food excellent but restaurant no atmosphere. Service good but more staff than customers!!!! Staff eating in restaurant maybe arrange to eat out of view ? Like the restaurant but maybe we choose a quiet time prefer to go Dinner time than a lunch . Manager was very helpful

The experience was so bad that the manager gave us our meal for free! Order got lost, no service , and when it arrived it was the wrong order. Took over 45 minutes just to get a starter, which was wrong. Wont bother in the future.

Have visited Côte at various locations, on many occasions, over the years and never been disappointed. It’s lovely to have one in Harpenden now and the restaurant, food and staff absolutely meet expectations!

Since the work has been done on the ceiling to reduce the noise, we have found it much improved. As for the food, ,service ,atmosphere and value, couldn't be better. Thank you

We had a delicious lunch: the crab bisque is delicious, the haddock from the April Specials Menu is "to die for" and it was all served by delightful, smiling and friendly staff. Many thanks to Ava and her brilliant team.

Great service, good food, thoroughly enjoyable, as usual. Enjoyed the complimentary gin & tonic and new spring menu is pretty good too. Will be going back again soon

Despite living in Harpenden this was my first experience of the previous Post Office, but having eaten in Cote in SA and WGC I was not disappointed either by the food nor the decor. Ate before 7.00 and chose their 2 course menu. Not disappointed although their discretionary (?) 12.5 % service charge is too high for what you get.they try to justify this by having three people to present the menu selections Will try again a little later in the evening as there were only 10 other diners so lacked atmosphere

Our dinner at Cote in Harpenden was the best meal we’ve had at any Cote restaurant in the UK, the food was as good, if not better than expected and each member of staff helped to make my wife’s birthday a very special occasion.

Super meal as usual. Service is always A1. Prices are real value for money & the food is always very well cooked, presented & hot. All in all a great value meal.

Great service Throughout our meal. The steak was served to our liking and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. As a family of four we have been several times and never been disappointed.

Easy to book, even when I nearly missed out on the free cocktail for each person, they were helpful on the phone. Arrived and the table was ready. Very cheerful and polite waiting staff looked after us. Menu was varied and I knew to ask for the vegetarian menu. The only down side was that it was as warm inside as out and there was no aircon. First warm day in May...

Everything was as constantly good as it always is, from the service to the quality of the food. The waiters/waitresses are always charming and professional. They are attentive but not invasive and always pace everything perfectly. Our complimentary cocktails were a lovely touch and a fantastic start to a most enjoyable evening. I cannot rate this branch of Cote highly enough. Thank you

We had a lovely Easter Sunday lunch with perfect service and wonderful good. We had a gorgeous bottle of red wine with one of the best machiato coffees I've had in England. Thanks for a special day, especially the free champagne.

Always have a great meal here and service is always friendly and efficient. Sat in a booth with 5 others, did feel it was a little tight for 6 adults but not too big a deal.

Good food, reliable quality. Not at its best last night. Meet and greet was slow all evening and the staff from the manager down aren’t very welcoming or particularly engaged with customers Also, acoustics mean it’s very loud Air conditioning at chilling temperature as usual here Good food though and decent value for money
