We were greeted and served by delightful staff. Our breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant is in a great location and very welcoming. Merci beaucoup!
Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. A worthy addition to Harrogate's extensive list of good restaurants. The option to sit outside on a warm day adds to the benefits.
From our welcome from the manager to the excellent food and service from our charming waitress Rimante. My wife and I could not have asked for a more enjoyable evening meal in Harrogate, we hope to visit again soon. But we live in Northumberland - Newcastle would be a bit nearer !! David E
Excellent evening. I had pate starter followed by fillet steak and partner had belly pork . Followed by apple pie and ice cream all was super. Service was very good and we really enjoyed the evening. Côte is consistently good.
Another excellent meal at Cote. Pleasant and helpful staff. Have been several times since opening and have never been disappointed. Let's hope this continues to be so!!!
Great service, excellent food and good value for money. We ate from the early evening menu and the quality was very good. We will certainly return again.
Very good food and good service but it was expensive. We will go back but will probably opt for the early birds menu, 2 courses £10.95
Fantastic breakfast, with great service a perfect start for our 45th wedding anniversary. Love the offers I receive by email which encourages you to go to cote in Harrogate.
Great food , lovely waiter . The atmosphere is very good with a good mix of different ages . Kids menu is great and the food is good quality , lovely Desserts as well .
exellent food, friendly and efficient service good value for money except 12% service charge. It was a very enjoyable sunday lunch with my family at the Cote
Ok evening food nice staff fine good value done before 7pm for best price. £ 13.00 or thereabouts three courses. Free wine first visit.book on the web
Always good value. Varied menu. Tasty food. Good service. Part of a chain but manages to retain something of the feel of an independent. We enjoy breakfast or dinner. What's not to like?
Booked for lunch Set menu very good value Food excellent as always Staff friendly & attentive One of our favourite eateries in Harrogate We'll be back
We often pop to Coté brassiere and for whatever the occasion, be it dinner with friends or just a simple supper, there is a menu to suit. We always enjoy our visits and the staff are all very nice.

Go twice a week at least. Always great service and good food. French breakfast with Boudain noir lovely Steak tartare starter 👍 Try it you won't be disappointed
Great food - good service. Our son was really impressed with the goat's cheese salad. The steak tartare was exactly as it should be whilst my wife prawns were fantastic. Good service and a good experience all round.
The food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. We were short of tome and when we told the waitress, our food came along quickly - but no too quick!!
A really lovely restaurant, decor, ambience, staff. The food is delicious. A really varied menu, with specials for the month and a set menu for early doors. Very reasonably priced.
Excellent service and food , very tasty. We ordered of the early bird menu and it's incredible value, 3 courses for £12.95. Would have been a 6 had the portions been slightly bigger
As a Coeliac they offer Excellent Gluten Free options. The food is delicious and filling, the atmosphere is brilliant and the staff are always friendly and attentive.
Monday night - so it was quiet in the restaurant, but served by good humoured, attentive staff. Food and wine were excellent and all in all a good evening in a great setting.
I asked in the morning if I could have a table by the window and was told shouldn't be a problem In the evening when we turned up the manager very unapologetically said no we had to seat others here ! He was extremely rude and with no explanation I have used the restaurant several times and always had good service This was not a good start to the evening. Especially as I had arranged this in advance and it was a special occasion. I did enjoy the rest of the staff but manager terrible. I love in France and this was nearly as bad as there! Was he trained in France !
Very busy Friday evening but our family party (including two grandchildren) were looked after well by staff. Second time we have visited this restaurant after being invited to join some friends and I'm sure we will come again.
The lighting where we sat was very poor. We had ad to use torch from mobile to be able to read the menu. Not very satisfactory.
Fabulous food atmosphere and service the whole evening was enjoyable unrushed unhurried quiet calm good table attentive waiters but no one fussing or pushing First class
Very buzzy and busy, but service friendly and efficient. Food good with plenty of variety and vegetarians catered for. Tables close together so gets quite noisy.
Lovely food, steak and frites and pork belly with tomato salad and green beans. Good coffee and nice selection of tea. Great service. A big thank you!
A very good lunch - a varied menu so plenty of choices to suit all tastes- friendly staff - pleasant surroundings - would recommend this restaurant
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly (but not gushing) staff, good food with a wide choice and a fair price. I like the optional gratuity added to the bill---I find tipping can sometimes be embarrassing.
Overpriced, poor quality, under pressure staff trying too hard and a mandatory 12.5% service charge. nearly £100 for lunch for two adults and a 4 year old. No need to visit again
Good lunch with both the food and service good. We both had the fixed price lunch and both had as main course the steak which as usual was ideal.
Good food, good service, friendly staff. Reasonable prices. The fixed price menu is particularly good value. the service was timely, not too fast, not too slow.
Brilliant food, good atmosphere, would be nice if there was a small VIP area that could be booked for special occasions with small 2-4 party limit as it just felt a little crowded for a special occasion taking away its intimacy.
A lovely restaurant. The food never fails to please. Great value too. The staff are very friendly. Atmosphere good. I definitely recommend this place. Try it
We arrived at 8.15 and made a reservation through Quandoo butt hey couldn't find our booking but they were very accommodating and we had a lovely table food was good
Staff couldn't do enough to help and were friendly and welcoming, food was to an excellent service and very prompt, and very reasonably priced! We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.
Lovely, as always. We were celebrating a birthday with a friend who hadn't been to Cote and it didn't disappoint. Thank you to the attentive staff.
Service :Excellent;waiters real gentlemen. Food: Delicious and beautifully presented. Pleased they asked how we liked our lamb cooked......some places don't. But.......no dry ginger drink.....very strange?!
Lovely Good Friday lunch. Staff very friendly and attentive and food excellent as usual. Tuna rillettes and Hake from the set menu were particularly good
Very enjoyable meal and good service as always. Cous cous main course was nicely spiced but somewhat dry. More of the yoghurt sauce would make this into an excellent dish.
Good food selection and quality. Generally the service was very good but nevertheless, a 12.5% gratuity added to the final bill is excessive. Conventional. 10% is adequate
All in all we enjoyed the experience. The reservation worked, and we had a choice of table. The food is excellent, but the service was not so good, particularly as the restaurant filled up and demand increased. My request for a armagnac digestif had to be repeated three times before the drink appeared. We will return to the restaurant, but ensure that we go at quieter times of the day.
I visited Harrogate cote on Sunday and had the weekend special. The food was wonderful, excellent value and the staff were nice and friendly staff. Also the restaurant was clean and tidy.
Very busy but still received excellent attentive service. Food very good quality and value with Jersey new potatoes being particularly special We will return again.
Perfect lunchtime meeting in and out within the hour... food and service was spot on as always looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!
Very nice meal in well appointed restaurant and will be going again. My thoughts to improve would be, turn the lights down earlier and turn up the music as it was nonexistent.
Good atmosphere. Busy on Friday night but service still friendly attentive and reasonably fast. Food good and nicely presented. One of our items missing but had plenty anyway. Value for money
Generally very good and value for money but the restaurant itself is a bit bare. I know it is a national brand but a few pictures on the walls would not go astray or a few flowers on the tables.
We were very much looking forward to our family breakfast together, unfortunately we were disappointed... Our son's breakfast didn't arrive with the rest of the order and came 20 minutes later. Our grandson wanted a crepe with fruit as opposed to egg and bacon, and when requested we were rather embarrassingly informed that the crepes come pre-prepared...not what you would expect from a 'french brasserie'. Think it's time you trained your 'chefs' to crack an egg and prep a crepe.
Lovely atmosphere and very good food. Staff friendly and helpful. Tables too close together though meaning conversations can be easily overheard by others sitting right next to you. A welcome new restaurant to the Harrogate scene.
